May 25, 20214 yr Author comment_5953074 hey I like that they realized they could just push Kofi as a credible babyface act
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953081 I hope MVP worked me because it look like he reinjured his knee in the post match shenanigans.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953105 That was a very solid TV match between Riddle and Xavier Woods tonight. Hopefully this is WWE's wake-up call that Woods could also have a very decent singles run if they finally choose to pull the trigger on it.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953110 Is it me or was that an odd choice for the show closing match/angle? Wasn't expecting Shayna vs Reggie to be the hook to get you to tune in next week.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953162 Look who's become a CCP bootlicker. Looks like the Cena Sucks crowd was right all along.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953163 Gotta win that Chinese market. He just forgot to say also that Uyghurs are not real human beings and don't deserve to be treated as such. I mean, while we're at it...
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953190 Good work if you can get it. Ink a deal, be anywhere less than what Vince demands on whatever whim he’s feeling this morning and take the severance money to go back to a sane company.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953193 He was legitimately terrible, though. Whenever I watched clips of Raw on YouTube, Corey Graves had to handle the bulk of play-by-play duties because Virk had nothing to say.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953194 Virk was a Nick Khan hire so this was Khan's first real swing and a miss since joining the company.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953201 Speaking of Khan, heads continue to roll behind the scenes. More evidence that he was brought in to improve the bottom line in preparation for a sale.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953203 It's more to bolster the stock price than anything else, which may lead to a sale but it seems that's the goal here.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953205 Or Eric Bischoff can partner with Fusion again, buy the wwe and get the ultimate revenge!!!
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953209 Hell of a sprint between Woods and Riddle. Glad I cherry picked the show for that one. Virk was just out of his depth, but really that's on the company for putting him in such a big spot from the get go. If only they had that Samoa Joe guy on the payroll still to fill his spot.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953217 Insane conspiracy theory: With Jim Ross idiotically calling Randy Orton the best wrestler in the world instead of, ya know, someone from his own fucking company (okay, we'll pretend to appreciate his "honesty"), could Good Ol' J.R. be preparing to move back to WWE? Raw could certainly use someone right about now.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953219 I mean, it could be he really does think Randy Orton is the best in the world. He's clearly in the "no fucks given" phase of his life, and knows Tony K will keep him well paid since he was one of the reasons they got the Turner deal. I would doubt he has any desire to go back to being Vince's punching bag unless they gave him a completely stupid money offer, which if they did it probably wouldn't go over well with the talent after multiple rounds of cuts for "budget reasons".
May 25, 20214 yr Author comment_5953220 Jim Ross is going off the deep end, him saying Randy Orton is the best in the world is one of the most precise things he's said in a while

I guess that Tom Phillips will get his seat back on Monday. Unless they promote Vic Joseph instead but that didn't exactly work out the first time for him either.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953224 I saw people comparing Virk to Mike Adamle, and that was just unfair for many reasons. They took a guy who has never called professional wrestling and threw them on the flagship show for the #1 company in the world with (apparently) zero training. If he had been in any other promotion in the world they would have at least not put him in such a position to fail. I know WWE has an unexplained hard-on for three person teams, but I really think Corey and Byron would be a great duo if given the chance. They have chemistry, and their banter reminds me of the Bobby/Gorilla and Vince/Jesse teams. Obviously they aren't on those teams' level, but I think it would be an improvement.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_5953225 On the other hand, Adamle was likely in the beginning stages of CTE during his time in WWE, so if anything, he's even less responsible for his performance.
