Ted Dibiase, Steve Williams & Jim Duggan vs. Masked Superstar, Dick Murdoch & Buzz Sawyer (1/31/86)

This was a long house show style match we get all of it, and it is a total blast. Not really a crazy brawl, as Murdoch starts out with some comedy as he does a long "extend the hand" spot with Duggan, one of the better Fuerza's I have seen, it kicks into gear during the second part of the match with a beat down on DiBiase and a big cluster finish. Fun, fun stuff.

Terry Taylor vs. Eddie Gilbert (1/31/86)

JIP and fine, but nothing disc worthy

Al Perez vs. Taras Bulba (2/14/86)

No sick Bulba piledriver, no thank you

Sheepherders vs. Ricky Gibson/Brett Wayne Sawyer

Al Perez suplexes a dummy then Sawyer comes out for a funny confrontation.

The Bruise Brothers (Mad Dog Boyd & Porkchop Cash) vs. JR Hogg & Broadway Joe Malcolm (1/19/86)

Squash.

Terry Taylor vs. Shawn O’Reilly (1/19/86)

Squash.

The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn & Stan Lane) vs. Ricky Gibson & Brett Sawyer (1/19/86)

This was very fun match with some good action but not nomination material.

Masked Superstar #2 (Kelly Kiniski) vs. Steve Doll (1/19/86)

Squash.

Ted DiBiase & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Gustavo Mendoza & Rob Rechsteiner (1/19/86)

The champs look great. Fabs come out after the match for a great confrontation.

Tarras Bulba vs. Perry Jackson (2/2/86)

Bulba just demolishes Jackson with a ganso piledriver then along with Gilbert turns on Humperdink and then he eats a nise pedigree as well. This was awesome especially with Gilbert explaining that it was payback for him getting fired 8 months ago.

“Mr. Unpredictable” Dick Slater vs. Ricky Gibson (2/2/86)

This was a damn good match with Gibson hanging with Slater and both men looked great on the mat.

“Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Al Perez (2/2/86)

Perez has “airline problems” so they get a replacement in Duggan who has returned from his tour of New Japan. Sawyer walks out.

Koko B. Ware vs. Broadway Joe Malcolm (2/2/86)

Koko’s TV debut and he looks great.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Steve Doll & Brett Sawyer (2/2/86)

Squash and Sawyer never got in the ring.

Mid-South TV Title: Jake “The Snake” Roberts © vs. Gustavo Mendoza (2/2/86)

Fun little match.

Ted DiBiase, Hacksaw Duggan, & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Masked Superstar #2 (Kelly Kiniski), “Capt. Redneck” Dick Murdoch, & “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer (1/31/86)

The comedy stuff with Murdoch trying to get Duggan on his side and against long-time rivals DiBiase & Doc was great as the crowd wasn’t buying it and neither was Duggan. DiBiase then offering his hand as a duel was good stuff as Murdoch was campaigning hard for Duggan’s approval. Murdoch telling Buzz not to pull Duggan’s hair then whispering that it’s a plan is tremendous. We have more clean wrestling from Murdoch with Duggan confused and Buzz pissed off but Murdoch tries to cheap shot Duggan in the corner to no one’s shock. It would soon turn into a 6-way brawl with the heels bumping their asses off and DiBiase/Doc putting up their hands for a high-five and Duggan responds so they are united. Murdoch’s facial expression to that was beyond awesome. The faces would dominate the match until DiBiase got caught in the heel corner where his FIP section would begin and he took punishment from everyone. It would just break down into a 6-way brawl with Murdoch bringing in a steel chair for the DQ. Easy nomination.

Boesch then does his tribute to Gino Hernandez and you could tell that there was more to this than just another wrestler dying.

Terry Taylor vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (1/31/86)

JIP and not enough for nomination.

Tarras Bulba vs. Al Perez (2/14/86)

Perez’s tights here are wild, blue zebra tights.

Koko Ware vs. Rob Rechsteiner (2/2/86)

Koko looks great.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Ricky Gibson & Perry Jackson (2/2/86)

Squash.

Tarras Bulba vs. Steve Doll (2/2/86)

Bulba nukes Doll with his piledriver.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Broadway Joe Malcolm (2/2/86)

Squash. Slater & Dark Journey come out before the match challenging Jake to a match for everything but Terry Taylor would show up and challenges both men.

Masked Superstar #2 (Kelly Kiniski) vs. Brett Sawyer (2/2/86)

Good match.

Terry Taylor vs. Gustavo Mendoza (2/2/86)

Another good match.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Ricky Gibson & Brett Sawyer (2/14/86)

Squash.
