August 24, 20214 yr Author comment_5960292 2 minutes ago, KawadaSmile said: what the fuck is this charlotte promo even Came off like Vince using her to vent about Ric leaving.
August 24, 20214 yr Author comment_5960298 Randy's constant "wtf is this bullshit" face he has around Riddle will never not crack me up.
August 24, 20214 yr comment_5960299 Those two are absurdly over, man. Truly impressive, really. Raw still has some gaping flaws, but even compared to like three weeks ago it feels like a whole different show.
August 24, 20214 yr comment_5960301 Listen, RKBro fucking rocks. I didn't want to say it, but it rocks.
August 24, 20214 yr Author comment_5960302 I actually love the twist on the tired WWE trope of "tag partners who don't like each other" by having them actually end up liking each other (kinda).
August 25, 20214 yr comment_5960389 Kayden Carter is pretty darn good, not gonna lie. I thought Kacy was going to be more appealing to the crowd by this point, but alas.
August 25, 20214 yr comment_5960391 Valentina Feroz representing Brazil. Good that people were chanting for her as well as Kay Lee Ray, but she is very green. But hey, she got TV time!!
August 25, 20214 yr comment_5960394 Carmelo Hayes vs Odyssey Jones is the type of thing NXT should be doing more often. Those dudes are part of the future, promote them more.
August 25, 20214 yr comment_5960395 This Xyon Quinn (Daniel Vidot) is build like a house of bricks, jesus
August 26, 20214 yr comment_5960482 I was wondering how long before Legado de Fantasma would counter the presence of B-Fab for Hit Row with somebody and seems like Elektra Lopez/Karissa Rivera was the answer.
August 26, 20214 yr Author comment_5960525 So SRS reported Brock's new deal is for "about a year and a half", so considering WWE usually insists on 3 year deals and Brock usually insists on 1 year deals it looks like they just met in the middle.
August 26, 20214 yr comment_5960527 With Roman, Sasha, Becky, Brock (and really, even Cena) exclusively on Smackdown now, is this the first time Raw has been the genuine B-show? There were times when you could say Smackdown was 1A, but Raw was always the flagship show. Even when Cena and Hunter were drafted to SD years back, Raw was still the A-show. But it feels different now. I mean no disrespect to Lashley and Drew, but that star power is not close to comparable. SD is on a different level.
August 26, 20214 yr comment_5960530 Apparently NBC/Universal are not happy about Becky and Brock going to Smackdown
August 26, 20214 yr Author comment_5960533 WWE kind of painted themselves in a corner with their TV partners. They were so thirsty to be back on network TV that they were annoying their long time cable partners, and when they try to appease them they upset Fox because they didn't spend a billion dollars to have the B show. A sane person probably could have figured out a way to make both sides relatively happy, but Vince lives in a world where he can only pay attention to one show at a time.
August 26, 20214 yr comment_5960534 I can't say it's the wrong decision by WWE. The Fox deal is massive for them and gets them on network TV. NBC/Universal are getting their Network business and WWE said this Summerslam was watched by more people than in the last two years, so Universal can't complain too much
August 27, 20214 yr comment_5960544 Yup, the situation in question is hardly one you can say "oh shit WWE is fucked" because they are absolutely going to get ridiculous deals down the line. Plus, with Becky and Brock on SD, I doubt they'll keep Sasha there. She'll probably go to RAW - and possibly do what Charlotte is unwilling to do, which is put over other people.
August 27, 20214 yr Author comment_5960546 Yeah it's not a "WWE is fucked" situation, they just are trying to please both masters at the same time which is made harder by being run by an old man with the attention span of a 5 year old with ADHD. Any other company in the world would love to have the problem of juggling multiple billion dollar TV deals, it's just that you know WWE is going to find some way to bungle that's what they do now.
August 27, 20214 yr comment_5960563 Newest Observer says Brock coming back was a last minute deal. With Cena leaving again and Punk going to AEW they felt they needed to make a big move. FOX was promised Brock and Becky as well.
August 27, 20214 yr comment_5960564 I imagine since Fox was the latter deal signed they had to make explicit promises they didn't have to make when they signed the USA deal. It all makes me wonder how much input the networks have on the day to day operation of the shows.
