November 6, 200717 yr comment_5423527 Dick Slater vs. Jake Roberts (No DQ) (JIP) (If the SSW 18 date is correct, we need to find the correct date for this) - I agree that this had some great stuff with the Journey interference and was just as violent as the others but Jake’s win didn’t feel as special or important and it seems that the chase made the feud and matches seem more important.

November 6, 200717 yr comment_5423552 I don't recall the belt being held up after either match so I guess that is where the problem lies. In the awesome SSw 18 match and the JIP Bollom match, both times, the segment ends with Jake walking off with the title.

November 28, 200717 yr comment_5424636 There were so many Jake/Slater matches on that disc I just forgot to comment on it. I thought this was the lesser of the Houston matches and I thought it was too JIP since Jake was already juicing when we started. I say we let it on but it will be an early cut I think.
