September 1, 20214 yr comment_5960877 I’d imagine they save the in-ring for Friday to drive that number but it’ll be good to see them both in the ring together at some point.
September 1, 20214 yr comment_5960880 They are pushing a sit down interview which is going to air after Rampage on Friday at 11 as one of the regular countdown shows. That could mean he's not live for either show, they could pick one over the other, or do both. My guess is he is on tonight and maybe they air a preview of the sit down interview from the Friday Night Special on Rampage to get you to stay with the countdown show.
September 1, 20214 yr comment_5960881 Wonder if this is the last time we see FTR tonight or are they going old school and working us about the condition of Cash Wheeler.
September 1, 20214 yr comment_5960882 That injury was gnarly, but I get the impression they're just working.
September 1, 20214 yr comment_5960901 It seems like a work, but it wouldn't be the first time they have unlucky injuries

Cash was very lucky that he was attended to as quickly and attentively though. And it really shook up his peers though as he's a really nice guy and has coached a lot of the roster. One of those people who will only get their due then they retire. But yeah it was something along the lines of a very bad dog bite. They are using verbiage lifted from Arn Anderson's in-ring retirement too. Obviously, they are big fans of Arn.
September 2, 20214 yr Author comment_5960929 How is that fucking Brock Lesnar guy ringside for every big TV show in America
September 2, 20214 yr comment_5960932 One big thing AEW needs to work on is letting things breathe sometimes. Santana and Ortiz get a huge win and as soon as the ref had slapped 'three', the commentators were talking about Punk. Give it just a second to sink in that S&O got a big win, then move on.
September 2, 20214 yr comment_5960934 Imagine being on the NXT roster and seeing 2.0 get released and now being featured on AEW with top guys weekly. Imagine being someone like Austin Theory seeing how AEW is using a virtually unknown young talent like Daniel Garcia.

A lot of guys either being cut or leaving because they no longer fit the mold of the Vinceavision version of NXT are gonna end up being another reason AEW is going to have the "cool place to be" vibe.
September 2, 20214 yr Author comment_5960936 ONE week without Matt Hardy on my TV please. "God's favourite champion stays down only for his wife in a hotel room after a victory" I cannot emphasize enough how hard Miro rules lmao
September 2, 20214 yr comment_5960937 They need to have the 3rd FTR/Santana & Ortiz match take up the whole hour of Rampage some week like Crockett used to do once in a while.
September 2, 20214 yr Author comment_5960938 Jericho is kind of winded just cutting this promo. Forget wrestling, how will he even perform on stage with this conditioning. A lot of wrestlers actually got in great shape during the pandemic but his body went totally to shit.
September 2, 20214 yr Author comment_5960940 I loved Hobbs v. Cage. Big meaty men slapping meat will always get me. I love Hobbs. It's funny cuz Cage has a bigger, better body, but I think Hobbs is actually stronger. He looks more solid and his mass looks less.....roided
September 2, 20214 yr comment_5960941 Man, a lot promises of people killing people in the ring, lol. I've heard it from Jericho, Darby and Black.

I thought it was a really underwhelming hoss match. Not that surprising considering Cage was involved, but still. Paul Wight crying, a wrestling tradition!
September 2, 20214 yr Author comment_5960943 So is this Gunn turn the first completely out of nowhere, for the hell of it turn that AEW has had. Not counting Brandi switching personalities or whatever.

I thought it was a fun TV match, very different from usual Dynamite matches, and Taz on commentary always sucks me in. It wasn't great but Hobbs looked great I thought and he got the pinfall, which was immensely satisfying for me, because I am very high on him
September 2, 20214 yr Author comment_5960945 GoFundMe to get the Good Brothers and Matt Hardy off my TV
September 2, 20214 yr Author comment_5960946 God the Good Brothers were absolute slugs in this match. The result makes me think the Lucha Bros have to be winning on Sunday though
September 2, 20214 yr comment_5960947 I love how they built up how effective the cage is, so you know the Bucks are effed at the PPV.
