September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961285 I thought the match was excellent and the finish was clever and well done, but Rick Knox already has the "ref who keeps fucking up" gimmick. I still think it was effective, but like a lot of tropes AEW overuses, it would have been a lot more effective had they not gone to this well so often.
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961290 Moxley-Kojima was just okay IMO. Is it just me or was it a bit of a clash of styles?

September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961296 I loved the match, I thought it hit hard and it felt like a dogfight. Of course Mox-Suzuki 2 will be much better
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961297 I should have guessed Suzuki would have shown up given he’s doing his long US tour. Should be fun at Full Gear.
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961299 King of Sports fed them Kojima but unleashed Satan on this damn company. That was fucking awesome. BTW, Kojima vs Mox was really good too, way better than I expected.
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961300 I am 100% sure Kris Statlander is stronger than Jade Cargill. I am making my mom watch this with me as she does some light cardio, and she is blown away by Kris Statlander
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961301 Crowd is hype but this one has been pretty sloppy. OK it picked up at the end.
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961303 Man this first hour was close to perfection. Great fucking title match.
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961304 I thought it was the best women's match they have put on PPV (Deeb-Riho was on the Buy In). I thought the sloppiness added a bit to it because of Statlander's brute strength equalizer gimmick. Having a hot crowd definitely helps. I definitely thought the match punched above its weight

I think it was badly placed as it was basically the same type of match Miro/Eddie was. But I was almost expecting a snoozefest so both of them bringing it was really cool.

September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961309 I am beside myself at how good Baker/Statlander was. I just wasn't expecting that.
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961312 There have been some crazy spots in the match but story and psychology wise, I think the Bucks and the Lucha Bros bring out the worst in each other. It is perfectly placed in that regard on the card though.
September 6, 20214 yr comment_5961313 Did anyone catch J.R.'s (?) dig when he responded "The Maguire Twins" to the list of great tag teams one of the other commentators was saying the Bucks are better than, haha.
