September 28, 20214 yr Author comment_5964380 Piper Niven dominating Charlotte in a way that basically never happens? No way she was getting over. Bonus LOL points for Flair laying out Eva Marie after the match. She must pose!
September 28, 20214 yr comment_5964381 It's like WWE heard the feedback of people complaining about the stupid fuck finishes last night and decided to up the ante.
September 28, 20214 yr comment_5964386 Anyone else smell a putrid partnership between Jax and Eva as wrestler and manager when they both come back? Just what the world asked for...

September 28, 20214 yr Author comment_5964389 This cage match has been fucking great. That exploder Lashley did was one of the best ones I've seen.
September 28, 20214 yr comment_5964390 I want to enjoy this but WWE escape the cage rules just kill it for me. FFS, it's not the 1970s and you need to have a way for Bruno to take a loss without getting pinned anymore.

September 28, 20214 yr Author comment_5964395 ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh big e vs big drew let's fucking goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
September 28, 20214 yr comment_5964396 Wow, they actually remembered that Drew Mac can challenge for the title again now that Lashley is no longer champ.
September 28, 20214 yr comment_5964398 Great finish to the cage match. They made Big E look strong and him in a program with Drew will be fun.

He's been quite good for quite awhile now. To think, he showed up on WWE ECW in 2009. He's done quite a bit in a dozen years.

September 28, 20214 yr comment_5964408 Was just thinking how Super Brutality sounds like either a Mortal Kombat finishing move or a tag team from Japan in the 90s but instead it's being used for a team where one person is rolling her eyes at how the other one is constantly acting like a goof.
September 28, 20214 yr comment_5964413 Thought the Bearcat Lee squash was really fun. He wrestled like a proper big guy, felt like a serious contender even though he was only beating a comedy jobber.

It's really interesting how Bruno indirectly ruined so many cage matches (not saying this one, but in general). He first introduced the rule cuz his idea of the gimmick was two people locked in, he beats the shit out of his opponent so bad he leaves the guy lying for dead in the ring, and then he just walks out the door. IIRC, the current escape the cage version happened in his climactic cage matches against Superstar Graham, where Billy got the shit beaten out of him and fell out of the door and retained via fluke. It sure must have seemed like a really creative, excellent way at that time to keep the title on Graham while making sure Bruno looked strong, but for whatever reason a young Vince Jr saw that, absolutely loved it, and has now used that template in basically every cage match forever. When was the last time someone walked out the door after killing their opponent like Bruno originally used to?

Kurt Angle vs Mr. Anderson in TNA at Lockdown 2010. Awesome match, brillant performance by Angle (as a pissed off babyface), Anderson is game as fuck (in more ways than one). Angle walks out the door by stepping on Anderson's balls. One of my favorite TNA matches ever.
September 28, 20214 yr Author comment_5964422 Woods is so damn good, man. Just cannot believe how much he progressed since 2015.
