UWF TV Title: Terry Taylor © vs. Buddy Roberts (6/8/86)

Roberts gets an early nearfall with a dropkick but Taylor would answer with three of his own sending Buddy to the floor. Taylor would bring Buddy back in the ring the hard way then worked on a wristlock but Buddy would break out by bashing Taylor’s head into the turnbuckle then tieing Taylor up in the Tree of Woe and just pounding Taylor relentlessly. Taylor would get up though and did the same to Roberts then brought him out of the corner and kicked him in the gut. Roberts is bleeding heavily from the back of his head and that sparks him as he gives Taylor a swinging neckbreaker for a nearfall. Roberts would then hit an elbow smash off the middle rope for another nearfall followed up with a suplex for another nearfall. Taylor would block another suplex attempt though with one of his own then got a small package for another nearfall. Roberts would go for a piledriver but Taylor would backdrop him then started firing the shots and popping Hayes for his trouble. Roberts would take advantage of that though by getting Taylor in an O’Connor Roll but Taylor would shove Roberts right into Hayes and caught Roberts with a schoolboy to win the match. This was damn good TV match with the hardway juice being a great subplot and both men worked really hard here. This should move forward on the set.
