Man alive was this great, the best of their three matchups IMO. Started out with wrestling, but busted out into a bloody brawl, TA takes some of the nastier post shots I have seen. It was cracking along until the top rope broke and then it got even better, DiBiase teases the War Games finish with the post hook, and does an especially nasty hot shot on the second rope. This was awesome stuff and might finish in my top 10.

This was just awesome. I agree it was the best of the 3 houseshow matches that the guys had. The early part of the match was cool because neither of them could get the advantage. Ted gets the advantage and aims his offense at TA's back. Ted was truly great here. TA was awesome at fighting underneath here. That was a neat looking 2nd rope knee drop to TA's back especially since he was on all 4's. TA and Ted go to the outside and Dibiase busts open TA. TA is bleeding and now Ted is like a shark working the wound. The ring ropes break and Ted uses them for a great near fall. Ted then uses an irish whip spot which is stupid since the rope is broken. I think the ref is thinking quickly on his feet and lays down for the running the ropes spot so TA doesn't look as awkward as he would have. The finish was awesome too. This is a lock to make a disk. The top 10 ranking is going to be tough with the amount of greatness that is here in the Mid-South.

North American Heavyweight Title: Magnum TA © vs. Ted DiBiase (7/6/84)

I loved their Oklahoma series so this should be no different. This started out being a really good even all-action match before DiBiase would take control by slamming Magnum on the floor then on the ringpost. DiBiase would work over Magnum relentlessly especially his back even using a bearhug which is a move DiBiase doesn’t normally use. Magnum would send DiBiase to the floor in a counter of a DiBiase chinlock which would give Magnum time to recover and make a comeback. The crowd was really into this but we would have a double collision that would send Magnum back to the floor. DiBiase would post Magnum hard a couple of times causing him to juice then slammed him on the railing before putting the boots to him and rolling him back in the ring. DiBiase continued to work on Magnum but Magnum would get a nearfall on an inside cradle. DiBiase though would continue to work on Magnum’s cut as the top rope has borken on one side of the ring. Magnum would reverse a DiBiase piledriver into a backdrop then started making a fiery comeback. Magnum would throw DiBiase into the corner making the rest of the top rope fall so DiBiase adlibbed by picking up the loose rope and trying to beat Magnum with the hook but it would be reversed and he got it instead. Magnum then continued pounding on DiBiase as the ring crew would fix the top rope but in the middle of this DiBiase would give Magnum a great Hot Shot on the middle rope. DiBiase would then load up the glove and missed a diving fistdrop off the second rope then ate a belly-to-belly for the pinfall. This was a tremendous match and a slam dunk nomination.
