Katsuhiko Nakajima has an incredible year after a crowd killing title ace run in 2017. I forget who I went with in the WON awards. Gut says that Okada edges it.
January 4, 20223 yr comment_5971612 I had Go Shiozaki as my number 1 at the time, and think its a fine pick. He was consistently great everywhere: NOAH, DDT, a weird match with Nanae in Seadlinnng. But, that was a cowardly pick, I should have had Shinya Aoki at #1. The best MMA fighter in pro wrestling run ever. Tapping guys in seconds, slick transitions, guys selling his submissions like death. Now, he's completely lost all of that, but in 2018 he was awesome.
January 4, 20223 yr comment_5971620 Toss-up between Kenny or WALTER. I don't know if WALTER had a single match below 3.75, but Kenny had some pretty ridiculous peaks and an excellent tag run with Ibushi.
