Joel Watts is the referee for this match and uses his real dad’s last name of Armstrong. Horner wins in a good match. Magnum TA vs. Tony Zane (6/8/83) Squash. Tito Santana vs. Mike Vachon (6/8/83) Competitive squash. King Kong Bundy & Super Destroyer vs. Denny Alberts & Craig Carson (6/8/83) Squash. Butch Reed cuts a promo about how he is mad about being used by Mid-South as a stepping stone and that he isn’t getting what he should be getting. Reed said that the JYD is the main one using him and that he is taking all the bullets for him. Reed said now that he will be his own man and makes a challenge to the JYD for the North American title with the fans chanting GO HOME REED and JYD finally shows up to answer Reed’s challenge. It ends up being a brawl with DiBiase involved and they double team JYD leaving him laying. Charlie Cook vs. Ted DiBiase (5/13/83) JIP from Houston and the match ends in a DQ after a karate thrust by DiBiase which is illegal. DiBiase destroys Cook after the match. Hacksaw Duggan & Johnny Rich vs. Mr. Olympia & Boris Zuhkov (6/8/83) JYD was supposed to be Duggan’s partner but he got injured so Rich took his place. Olympia loaded up the boot and was trying to dropkick Duggan but Rich took the bullet. Duggan was then doubleteamed but he overcame the odds and threw a groggy Rich off the top rope and Rich fell on Olympia for the win. Mr. Wrestling II vs. Denny Alberts (6/8/83) Squash. Tito Santana vs. King Kong Bundy (6/8/83) Very competitive match and Tito looked great as he got a lot of offense in. Tito won by DQ as he backdropped Tito over the top rope and then gave him a piledriver on the floor for his trouble. This was a very good match. “Hacksaw” Butch Reed vs. Tim Horner (6/8/83) Reed looks awesome and throws Horner around like he is nothing. Mr. Olympia & Boris Zuhkov vs. Art Crews & George Weingroff (6/8/83) I love Weingroff and he looks good here when he was on offense and Crews doesn’t look bad either. This was another good competitive match. Magnum TA vs. Rip Rogers (6/8/83) Magnum gets a quick win. Mil Mascaras vs. Kendo Nagasaki (5/13/83) JIP from Houston.
November 21, 200717 yr comment_5424264 Nothing on here, although the weirdness of Kendo Nagasaki v. Mil was amusing, and there was a nice amature exchange between Weingroff and Olympia. I love JYD's Roots drummer afro

But overall, this disc of TV footage was fun to watch, just nothing nomination-worthy.
