Holy shit, when did they make WALTER lose all that weight?? what the hell did they do to him?

It's one thing for him to be treated like "any other hoss" in a setting like Strong Big Japan but this is something else.

I read an interview this week where he said he basically changed his nutrition and that's how he lost that weight and has that look now. Can't say for sure it was a request from WWE management but wouldn't put it past them.

If when WALTER leaves WWE, he can just say Gunther was his younger brother

Angles get reran all the time. WWE redid Summer of Punk, got over just as much if not more so the 2nd time around.

Ronda vs. Charlotte has not been a compelling feud.  

Ronda comes across like a public access actor, and while Charlotte knows how to heel, her presence and delivery are nails on a chalkboard bad.

Ludwig Kaiser is the funniest generic German name imaginable. I love it. And I prefer in shape Gunther. His tights aren't distractingly too small anymore. And to be honest, I'm fine with " Gunther". It's dumb but I always thought Walter was a dumb name too.

In a vacuum, it doesn't really make much difference but it's just stupid to change people's names because the boss has a hard on for complete control. It's one thing to give some recruit in the PC a goofy new name, doing it to an established wrestler both in and out of the WWE system just comes off as insulting to fans. Especially when the crowd is chanting WALTER and both announcers have to claim they really are saying GUNTHER. It just makes everyone involved look stupid as hell.

I even feel like if they change the name of an established guy as soon as they bring them in, people can at least go "Okay WWE is going to WWE."

But this new shit of guys being there for 5 years and having appeared on TV and PPV's under the name everyone knows them by, and then all of a sudden Vince has a whim and they are Gunther and Butch.

I don't even know what to say. It honestly amazes me that this is the same company that booked the Hogan/Andre story, or the MegaPowers exploding, or any of those old angles, because everything they do now just screams "we are throwing shit at the wall and making it up on the spot."
