April 20, 20223 yr comment_5979912 Along Punk/Dustin we have the coffin match between Andrade/Darby and TK "huge announcement". Dynamite is hitting us with everything this week.

He's not stupid enough to tease a big announcement and have it being about the indian market after the disastrous debut of Singh last week. It would be really, really dumb. Hopefully it's something big like a streaming deal or joint show with NJ or anything of that ilk. He's on the verge of overdoing the big announcement gimmick already. A big announcement every three weeks is not a big announcement anymore. Let's not get into "The greatest night in the history of our sport" territory.
April 20, 20223 yr comment_5979917 It was more tongue in cheek but the NJPW Show has already been leaked/announced so yeah, AEW acknowledging it would be a step forward. They can’t really push towards it right now due to them prepping for Double or Nothing but something interesting with BCC and NJPW on that show would be worthwhile.

Oh, I wasn't even aware of this. I've been a bit off these days with wrestling news and such.
April 20, 20223 yr comment_5979919 Yeah, Voices of Wrestling’s NJPW pod announced it last week, I believe.
April 20, 20223 yr comment_5979921 Punk vs Dustin sounds like it's gonna be a HOOT. Dust is one of my favorites in the ring, and Chronically Moody Punk has been AEW's most interesting act since his debut.

I sure hope so because I want them to start getting more of a direction from this point forward. The set up was great, they established Yuta in record time. Now let's get something with more meat to it.
April 20, 20223 yr comment_5979926 Oh I just saw we'll get Chico de la Selva vs KOR, and I take everything that would get Perry over as a singles star.

April 20, 20223 yr comment_5979932 Punk tweeted out a photo of a sign on a dressing room “For a special guest” so now folks are thinking Tony’s announcement might have something to do with that.

April 20, 20223 yr comment_5979934 The New Japan shows in the US are almost AEW vs. NJ shows already, the DC show has Mox vs. Tanahasi, Ishii vs. Kingston and Brody King vs. Suzuki as it's three main matches.

Exactly that's why I'm not as excited about the superhow rumors. What's a marquee match they can sell?
April 21, 20223 yr comment_5979939 Has Dustin worn this gear before or is it new and a nod/tribute to the American Nightmare? Either way, it's liiiiitt - as the kids today probably said five years ago.
April 21, 20223 yr comment_5979940 It always bugs me how BIG Dustin is. Dude is tall as shit yet never really looked like a giant in WWE.
