DiBiase jumps Magnum from behind at the bell but Magnum starts firing the punches and chunks DiBiase to the floor and here we go again with the brawl on the floor. Magnum pounds DiBiase’s head on the apron a few times and chases Teddy back in the ring. Magnum continues his offense until DiBiase pulls him through the ropes and to the floor where Magnum has juiced. DiBiase starts working on Magnum’s cut at ringside by slamming him into the railing where the female fans are hollering as he pulls the skin on Magnum’s forehead. Teddy then takes it back to the ring where he starts his offensive brigade by continuing to work on the cut with his diving fist drops. Magnum is a bloody mess and Teddy locks in a sleeper to weaken him further but Magnum would work his way back up to his feet and carried DiBiase over the top rope with his momentum. DiBiase would get back in and try for a piledriver but Magnum would backdrop him, which would fuel his comeback. They started trading shots and as said before Magnum was such a great fiery babyface on his comebacks. They would knock noggins and DiBiase loaded up his glove but Magnum ducked and caught him with an atomic drop followed by the belly-to-belly to score the pinfall. This was different and not quite as good as the OKC match but a solid nomination nonetheless.
September 27, 200718 yr comment_5422267 I liked this one WAY more than the first one, at least 2 1/2 years ago when I first picked the set up. This one was just as brutal and way more logical in its execution. The first one felt like a series of moves for the sake of doing moves.

This was really great, as it starts with a brawl on the outside with both guys taking big bumps on the concrete and onto tables, then DiBiase busts Magnum with the glove and he bleeds all over the place. T.A. is really great as a fired up babyface Magnum T.A. vs. Ted Dibiase (date?) In this match T.A. comes in with a bandage and starts spraying blood all over the ring, didn't have the epic feel of the first match, and had less crazy bumps, but it definitely felt DVD worthy and was a lot of fun. I liked both of the Magnum/Dibiase matches. The 1st one on the tape was a really spirited brawl that was a lot of fun to watch. Magnum played the fired up babyface roll really well. He took a good beating. The blade job off the loaded glove punch put over the gimmick really strong. Dibiase fist drop is a thing of beauty. Everytime I see that thing I have a tendancy to mark out. I thought Ted did some odd things in this match. I didn't understand why he went to the spinning toe hold after Magnum being busted open. Ted took a big bump from the kick off of the toe hold which played into Belly to Belly finish. Overall, a good match but some of the stuff didn't make complete sense to me. Now the second match between the 2 I feel was worked smarter. The brawling wasn't as good as the first match but the layout seemed better. Magnum again was busted open and bleeding like a pro. Ted works over the cut with an assortment of fistdrops, punches, head smashes etc.. Dibiase even works a sleeper on which made perfect sense with the blood loss from the cut. Dibiase's offence was based around Magnum's cut. Dibiase takes a big bump over the rope from the sleeper hold. This allows Magnum to work Ted's back with slams, and back drops. They set up a great spot where T.A reverses a piledriver into a back drop. They work to this awesome finish where Magnum atomic drops Ted into the ropes, Ted bounces off the ropes into a belly to belly for a 3 count. Just a well worked match.
