Matt is more than capable in having good matches in 2022, but they need to worked around his physical limitations and a dream match with the Bucks would never be that.

That’s a good point, and I guess it applies to both of them. They need to stop trying to wrestle like it’s 1998. They are older, have injuries and need to adjust, and they could still be interesting. They could even lean into all that Broken Universe stuff as part of the process. More brawling, less high flying.

The post-match overshadowed the match, but for good reason. Malcolm and Ember are excellent additions to the roster, the crowd went hot for them, and it was clearly a big shot in the arm for AEW to have got them. Excited to see them get featured more and more on AEW.

The only criticism I have, and I know it’s kind of goofy is with the HOB. They have scary intimidating music. They have scary intimidating costumes. Two of their members have scary names.

The other one is named…”Buddy.”

He feels like the jock trying to get with the goth girl by being nice to her friends.
