Posted September 27, 200718 yr comment_5422287 North American Heavyweight Title vs. Mid-South TV Title: Ted DiBiase © vs. Terry Taylor © (3/13/85) This is a rare title vs. title match as Taylor had challenged DiBiase earlier in the show and DiBiase answered the challenge. Jake came out before the match saying that Taylor is scared of him and goes to the floor. Taylor used his wrestling ability to take the advantage early on but DiBiase would soon counter with rough tactics and used Taylor’s face as a punching bag. DiBiase kept the advantage but Taylor would fight fire with fire and started throwing punches to counter him and reversed a neckbreaker into a suplex for a nearfall as Jake draped DiBiase’s foot on the rope. Jake would then trip DiBiase by mistake then got popped by Taylor then got hit by Taylor again after DiBiase kicked out of an O’Connor Roll. DiBiase loaded up the glove but missed his shot and Taylor hit a five-arm to become the double champ. Tremendous finish to this match and the crowd was going nuts. This is also a low-end nomination.

December 17, 200717 yr comment_5425460 Here was my comment when I watched this originally This was good, but it was kind of a short TV match. I think it makes it, but I could see it off if we get 100 better. If I could see it off, it is off.
