Eddie Gilbert announces that Iceman King Parsons is the newest member of Hot Stuff International and the seeds are planted for a Freebirds feud over the cream.

Iceman King Parsons d. Ken Johnson (3/1/87)

Squash.

Savannah Jack vs. Mike Boyette (3/1/87)

Jack is the TV champ but hardly ever wrestles on TV. Iceman shows up with his oreo cookies and taunts Jack.

UWF TagTitles: “Gentleman” Chris Adams & Terry Taylor © vs. Angel of Death & Buddy Roberts (3/1/87)

The champs dominated the early part of this match keeping it on the mat as much as possible but a punch to the face by Buddy turned the tide. Angel would tag in and he started using his power to weaken Taylor then tagged in and out with Buddy keeping the fresh man on the offensive. Angel would get Taylor in a Canadian Backbreaker but Adams broke that up with a dropkick and would soon get the hot tag. This turns into a 4-way brawl with Taylor hitting the five-arm on Angel as Adams used a backdrop suplex hold on Roberts for the win. Good match.

Steve Cox vs. The Super Ninja (3/1/87)

Cox gets another win.

UWF Tag Titles: “Genteleman” Chris Adams & Terry Taylor © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Iceman King Parsons (3/20/87)

They battle in two rings because there was going to be a battle royal later. Adams starts a buckwheat chant before the match for Iceman since he called him jailbird and the crowd obliges. Iceman then calls Taylor a thief and his mother a ho-bo, which is hilarious. Adams decides to chase Iceman around the ring but it didn’t last long and the match finally started with Gilbert & Adams in the ring. Jesus, Gilbert & Iceman are fucking awesome as a chickenshit stooging heel team, their mannerisms are great and it’s even more amazing that Iceman wasn’t a heel earlier. Gilbert’s selling here of Adams’ offense is also great and I loved that when Gilbert got to his corner when Adams was in the ring, Iceman conveniently moved out of the way but told Eddie that he loved him. We go to a commercial break and returns with Iceman on offense on Adams hitting a diving axehandle off the second rope. Iceman immediately tags Gilbert when Adams starts to make a comeback and Gilbert doesn’t want to come in either. Gilbert then tells Adams that he is going to make him pay for his treasonry against Iceman and eats a punch to the face for his trouble. Taylor would finally tag in and would stomp a mudhole in Gilbert who sold this like a fuckin champ. Adams & Taylor would take turns beating on Gilbert doing the old switcharoo behind Carl Fergie’s back with Iceman’s selling of this hilarious. Iceman would finally have enough of this and hit his ASS BASED OFFENSE on Taylor then tagged in to start the heel control section. Gilbert & Iceman were relentless on Taylor and everytime he tried to fight his way to Adams, they cut him off immediately. Taylor would finally hit a desperation backdrop suplex on Gilbert and got the hot tag on Adams conveniently with Iceman in the ring and the war was on. Adams came in and took care of Iceman then hit a Superkick on Gilbert in the ribs but Gilbert recovered enough to hit Adams in the back as he backdropped Iceman. Gilbert then tried a cross body block but Adams caught him and they both went over the top rope with Gilbert taking a great bump that results in a double countout finish. The finish sucked but god damn did this match kick fucking ass and a definite nomination.

“Gentleman” Chris Adams & Terry Taylor vs. Ted DiBiase & Sam Houston (3/15/87)

This should be a scientific match you would think and everyone shakes hands before the match. Damn there was some great fast paced wrestling going on here with all four men looking great and the crowd loving every minute of it. Adams nearly takes Houston’s head off with a clothesline and the champs go to work on Houston’s midsection but when Taylor goes for a piledriver he reverses and tags in DiBiase. DiBiase gets a nearfall on an elbow drop but misses a legdrop and Taylor would hit him for a suplex for another nearfall then followed up with another one. Taylor would miss a kneedrop and DiBiase went for the figure-four but Taylor kicked him off two times. Taylor would lock in DiBiase on an inside cradle for a nearfall and Taylor would reverse for a 2 count as the time limit ran out. Tremendous match and a definite nomination.

Iceman King Parsons vs. Ken Massey (3/15/87)

Iceman came out in his street clothes and said that he ain’t wrestling Massey because he wants Adams & Savannah Jack. Iceman then decides to kick Massey’s ass anyway throwing him over the top rope for a DQ.

UWF TV Title: Savannah Jack © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (3/15/87)

Jack dominated the early part of the match but Gilbert would fake a leg injury after a leapfrog and played possum catching Jack with a Sunday punch. Gilbert had the advantage until he missed a diving elbow drop and Jack would make his comeback with punches. Jack would throw Gilbert into Carl Fergie and caught Gilbert flush with the Super Kick when Iceman showed up with a rag and sprayed it with ETHER. Iceman would put it on his face and put Jack to sleep with Gilbert rolling over for the pinfall to win the title. Fun stuff.

Steve Cox vs. The Super Ninja (3/15/87)

Poor Ninja has to job for Cox again.

Chavo Guerrero & The Missing Link vs. Mike Boyette & The Red Shadow (3/15/87)

Damn the Red Shadow looks bush league and Boyette was well Boyette. This also featured the debut of Nicola Roberts (Baby Doll) in the corner of Chavo & Link. Chavo missed a moonsault by accident but give Shadow credit because he went for a pin to make up for that. Shadow was not in the right place and Chavo would hit a cross body block to make up for it. Chavo fell to the floor as he looked like he was legit hurt after missing the moonsault.

Wild Bill Irwin & The Viking vs. Bobby Perez & Jeff Raitz (3/15/87)

Squash.

$15,000 Challenge: Wild Bill Irwin vs. Mike Boyette vs. Jeff Raitz (3/20/87)

Irwin must beat both men in succession and of course he does.

They show Gary Young’s heel turn after he cracks a steel chair over Chavo Guerrero’s head after winning a 2-ring battle royal for a trophy. Young then runs off with the trophy and does a great promo in the locker room afterwards.

Angel of Death vs. Gary Young (3/20/87)

This was before the heel turn.

The 2-ring battle royal airs that spawned the Young turn.

Gary Young vs. Mike Boyette (3/15/87)

Young gets the win and nearly killed Boyette on an arm drag as he landed right on his head. They come back from break with doctors in the ring helping Boyette.

“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Iceman King Parsons vs. Ken Massey & Jeff Raitz (3/15/87)

Squash.

A video then airs pimping Doc & Gordy.

Then they air highlights of the Angel of Death turning on Michael Hayes.

Sam Houston vs. The Red Shadow (3/15/87)

Squash.

UWF Tag Titles: “Gentleman” Chris Adams & Terry Taylor © vs. Angel of Death & Wild Bill Irwin (3/15/87)

The champs looked good here and the heels played their part fine as well. They go to a commercial break and come back with the match over as the heels got DQed, They were going to show the finish until Hayes & Roberts showed up and got their revenge. Gang shows up and it’s 3-on-2 until Hayes gets a steel chair to clear the ring.

Sam Houston vs. The Viking (3/20/87)

JIP and Houston gets the win.

Alot of this DVD I already watched and commented on

UWF Tag Titles: “Genteleman” Chris Adams & Terry Taylor © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Iceman King Parsons (3/20/87)

Iceman was completly awesome here, Gilbert is great too, I am not in love with Adams and Taylor as a team, but Parsons and Gilbert are kingsized. I actually didn't mind the finish as both guys took a big enough bump, that I bought a double count out.
