Posted September 29, 200718 yr comment_5422370 Gary Young vs. Mike Boyette (3/15/87) Young gets the win and nearly killed Boyette on an arm drag as he landed right on his head. They come back from break with doctors in the ring helping Boyette. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Iceman King Parsons vs. Ken Massey & Jeff Raitz (3/15/87) Squash. A video then airs pimping Doc & Gordy. Then they air highlights of the Angel of Death turning on Michael Hayes. Sam Houston vs. The Red Shadow (3/15/87) Squash. UWF Tag Titles: “Gentleman” Chris Adams & Terry Taylor © vs. Angel of Death & Wild Bill Irwin (3/15/87) The champs looked good here and the heels played their part fine as well. They go to a commercial break and come back with the match over as the heels got DQed, They were going to show the finish until Hayes & Roberts showed up and got their revenge. Gang shows up and it’s 3-on-2 until Hayes gets a steel chair to clear the ring. Terry Taylor hasn’t shown up yet so a UWF Tag Titles match between Adams/Taylor vs. Parsons/Sting would have to be postponed until later in the show. They show clips of Gary Young turning on Chavo to get over his heel turn. Gary Young vs. George Weingroff (3/29/87) Good to see Weingroff back but this was quick as Young grabbed the tights to win. UWF Tag Titles: “Gentleman” Chris Adams © vs. Iceman King Parsons & Sting (3/29/87) Once again Taylor isn’t there and Adams comes out with Ken Mantell telling everyone that he would defend the titles himself. Adams dominates both men early but the tide would turn when Iceman caught Adams with a knee to the back as he ran the ropes. Sting threw him to the floor where he would get worked over by Iceman and when thrown back in the ring would be thrown into many turnbuckles by Sting. Adams is juicing now and they are working on the cut relentlessly. Adams gets destroyed here but tries to fight back telling Carl Fergie not to stop the match basically holding him back from stopping the match. Taylor comes running out in his street clothes with his suitcase then starts swinging around like a wildman. The match ends on a DQ and this was the start of the Taylor heel turn. Adams took a hellacious beating here. They air a video now hyping up the catfights that are being booked soon. Terry Gordy comes out to speak his mind about the Freebirds/Devastation Inc. feud but says that he doesn’t feel like talking but whipping ass instead then throws Bruce Prichard down. Gordy finally gets out of the ring but then destroys Mark Hawk & Ron Sexton who were going to have the next match. Gordy then starts hitting referees UWF TV Title: “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert © vs. Savannah Jack (3/29/87) Gilbert bumps and sells hard for Jack early who looks really slow here. Iceman comes out and uses ASS BASED OFFENSE to take Jack down then breaks out a fucking noose and hangs Jack. DiBiase leaves from his commentary position and he makes the save as TV time runs out.
