I think if Chavo hit his finish cleanly it would make it, but he didn't so I don't think it does. One Man Gang vs. Gary Young Hacksaw Duggan vs. Art Crews Squashes Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy vs. Ted Dibiase & Terry Taylor (Country Whipping Match) (Incomplete) Incomplete PPW128 11-18-86 Massey/Raitz v Brown/Irwin Squash, Brown has a great big elbow Ted Dibiase v. One Man Gang This was spectacular. Both guys have great punches, and they tee off on each other. One of the best double nogging knockers I have ever seen with DiBiase taking a huge bump outside the ring. The finish with Akbar doing the Gene Anderson sacrifice was awesome, and the 747 off the second rope is brutal looking. Libyan/Crews v Parsons/Chavo Tatum/Victory v Gaylord/Young Angel of Death v Savoldi Squashes Fantastics/Link v Sting/Steiner/Gilbert This was an elimination tag, and fun but a step below a disc selection. I did love the Link getting DQ for a top rope tope, but the match was mostly about the Victory + Tatum run in.
November 28, 200718 yr comment_5424631 “Nature Boy” Buddy Landell vs. Jeff Gaylord (11/2/86) Landell looked good. Chavo Guerrero vs. Jack Victory (11/2/86) This was a really good match with Chavo looking great here and Victory was a solid opponent. I loved Chavo’s matwork here and Victory’s punches. The finish was sloppy thus hurting the match in the end. One Man Gang vs. Gary Young (11/2/86) Squash and Duggan/Gang have a great brawl after the match. Hacksaw Duggan vs. Art Crews (11/2/86) Squash and Gang would get his revenge after the match. Country Whipping Match: Ted DiBiase & Terry Taylor vs. The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry Gordy & Michael Hayes) (11/2/86) Good to see Boyd Pierce back with the company doing intros. DiBiase & Taylor come out swinging the belts and they send the Birds to the floor. The match just gets kicking when TV time runs out. “Bad Bad” Leroy Brown & Wild Bill Irwin vs. Ken Massey & Jeff Raitz (11/16/86) Squash. UWF Heavyweight Title: One Man Gang © vs. Ted DiBiase (11/16/86) DiBiase took a beating from the Gang early as he was throwing bombs but DiBiase would hang with him throwing some great punches on his own. DiBiase showed great fire here fighting back but they would knock heads in one of the best one of those I’ve ever seen as DiBiase went basically flying through the ropes and to the floor. Akbar was great here taunting DiBiase but he got his jaw jacked. Gang would miss the 747 and DiBiase went to work on the left leg going for the figure-four but Gang would push DiBiase into Akbar’s head then followed with a 747. Gang then slammed DiBiase and followed that with a 747 off the middle rope to finish off DiBiase. This was a great match and an easy nomination. Chavo Guerrero & Iceman King Parsons vs. Art Crews & The Libyan (11/16/86) Squash. John Tatum & Jack Victory vs. Jeff Gaylord & Gary Young (11/16/86) Competitive squash. Angel of Death vs. “Jumpin” Joe Savoldi (11/16/86) Squash. Elimination Match & Loser’s valet gets painted yellow: The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) & Missing Link vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert, Rick Steiner, & Sting (11/16/86) Link gets eliminated early for using a headbutt off the top rope as everyone is in the ring brawling. Fants dominated the early part of the match and we got the always fun Fulton/Gilbert exchange but Tatum & Victory run in the ring to jump Steiner & Sting. Fulton gets eliminated for backdropping Gilbert over the top rope as Tatum piledrives Rogers on the floor. Steiner would belly-to-belly a limp Rogers for the victory. Gilbert holds up Dark Journey to get painted with Fulton trying to make the save by Link shows up and headbutts everyone.
