Rick Steiner vs. Johnny West (one of the Sterling brothers) (1/24/87) Steiner murders the son of Missing Link. Badstreet Match: Ted DiBiase & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry Gordy & Michael Hayes) (1/24/87) This is what you would expect from this type of match as it has hard-hitting action and blood. Gordy just murders DiBiase with a backdrop suplex. Doc juicing off the cowboy boot shot was great. The face locker room having to come out was great too. Fantastic stuff and a definite pick. Angel of Death vs. Mike Reed (1/24/87) Squash. Super Ninja vs. Bobby Walker (1/24/87) Here is the other Sterling brother getting squashed. Ted DiBiase vs. Jeff Gaylord (1/24/87) Scientific squash. The Missing Link vs. Buddy Roberts (1/24/87) The Freebird Family comes out en mass to support Buddy and they jump Link as soon as he enters the ring. DiBiase, Doc, & Chavo would run them off. The faces would hold the ring hostage until the Birds come out but Grizzly Smith would come to the ring instead. DiBiase tells him that they still aren’t leaving so Ken Mantell shows up with the Birds not too far behind although Hayes is trying to keep them back. Sunshine comes to the ring as Hayes is about to fight a fan and she says they ain’t coming to the ring. DiBiase says they will leave but the rules have changed. Chavo Guerrero vs. Eli the Eliminator (1/24/87) DiBiase jumps Irwin at ringside and it’s a wild 4-way brawl with there being no match.
