Posted October 3, 200718 yr comment_5422473 Buddy Roberts vs. The Samoan Tao I am assuming they were using local Samoans as jobbers due to taping in LA Eddie Gilbert vs. Shane Douglas (Subbing for Sting) Less of a match and more of a angle Ron Simmons vs. The Samoan Coquine This is Simmons v. Yokozuna which is conceptually interesting, but was just a squash RNR Express vs. Big Bubba & Black Bart This was fun, but not an upper tier R+R's match, still always fun to watch Gibson and Morton Also on this DVD is a UWF show pre Starcade, which was basically an NWA show called UWF, they had a great Tully v. Garvin match, but at that point UWF was dead so I think it should go on a Crockett set.
November 14, 200718 yr comment_5423938 Who0 was calling the Tully-Garvin match? If it was Magnum-Ross then this would probably deserve to go on the Mid South set as much as any Bockwinkle-Dusty match ot Flair-Wahoo. If it is being called by Tony and Crockett, then I would agree it does not deserve recognition.
November 14, 200718 yr Author comment_5423939 Wasn't the UWF dead by Nov 1987? They may have still had TV but I don't think they were running seperately or even had a seperate roster
November 14, 200718 yr comment_5423950 I've already watched that earlier and it's Ross calling the match solo.
