Steiner & Sting were becoming quite the good team here as they were getting their timing down and their tag psychology was improving. Taylor was fine as the FIP but Adams was better in the corner campaigning for the hot tag. Taylor seemed like here that he was getting tired of being a babyface. Great double team move with Steiner holding Taylor up in a suplex with Sting coming off with a cross body block for a nearfall and Taylor countering with an inside cradle for another nearfall. Sting put Taylor in a bearhug but Taylor would get out of it so Sting sent him to the floor where Gilbert got him a cheapshot in. Sting hit a sweet diving fistdrop from the top rope before tagging Steiner in who hit a brutal clothesline on Taylor who is now taking a real good beating. Taylor would duck another clothesline and hit the five-arm on Steiner but Steiner would tag Sting in who misses his big diving elbow and Adams gets the tag but the ref misses it. Adams decides to stay in the ring anyway and the 4-way brawl is on. Gilbert got a tag belt and tried to hit Taylor but hit Sting instead and Taylor covered to win the match. This was a really solid match and I’m on the fence as far as nomination but I’m leaning towards a yes. Chavo Guerrero vs. Gary Young (4/3/87) Young is so much better in this role than he was as bland babyface jobber. This was a fine match with nothing special although Chavo made a great fiery babyface comeback. Chavo brings a chair in the ring and beats Young with it for the DQ with Young juicing. The stuff after the match was better than the match. And we have the end of Paul Boesch’s run with the UWF as him & Peter Burkholtz wasn’t consulted in their opinion by Bill Watts regarding the sale of the UWF to Jim Crockett Promotions, so they decided to pull away and aligned with the World Wrestling Federation. They do show some old stuff though Hacksaw Duggan vs. Super Destroyer (6/10/83) Duggan would win fairly easily with the spear.

Hacksaw Duggan vs. Super Destroyer (6/10/83) Squash, and man did Bosch switching suck
November 28, 200717 yr Author comment_5424620 The whole attitude that they weren't consulted on a decision by Watts to sell was pretty bad because Pete Berkholtz was controlling Boesch at that time and saw $$$$ in Vince but they would've done so much better with Crockett.
