Posted October 3, 200718 yr comment_5422516 “Gentleman” Chris Adams & Terry Taylor vs. Mike Boyette & Mike George (3/29/87) Taylor is actually here for this match. The heels tear off Adams’ bandage and they go to work on Adams’ cut from last week but Adams rebounds hitting a Superkick on Boyette. Taylor then asks for a tag with him hitting a diving kneedrop for the pinfall. There is a commercial next for the Brett & Buzz Sawyer Wrestling School in Sacramento, California, which after reading Cappetta’s book must’ve been something. Chavo Guerrero vs. The Super Ninja (3/29/87) Chavo wins pretty quickly. Ninja is actually Kengo Kimura under the hood. Hot Stuff International then does an interview in the ring where Iceman breaks out the noose again while wearing a Corona sweatshirt. Gilbert says that he would defend his UWF TV Title against anyone anywhere from the Top 10, which brings out Ken Mantell. Gilbert tells Mantell to pick his opponent and he picks Sting as his opponent, which is the beginning of the Sting babyface turn. Gilbert & Iceman throw a tantrum with Iceman telling Sting don’t take the match. Steve Cox vs. The Red Shadow (3/29/87) Squash. Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy vs. The Viking (3/29/87) Gordy destroys him. UWF TV Title: “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert vs. Sting (3/29/87) Sting gets the mic and calls Gilbert his best friend saying that Hot Stuff International gets the last laugh. Sting goes to the floor and high-fives Iceman so he can be counted out. Sam Houston shows up and gets on the mic calling Gilbert a chicken if he leaves, so Gilbert gives him the match. Gilbert takes it to Houston early getting a couple of nearfalls but Houston gets the advantage getting nearfalls on an inside cradle and a sunset flip. Houston then hit a bulldog on Gilbert for the pinfall but he doesn’t win the title as it wasn’t on the line. Angel of Death, Bill Irwin, & One Man Gang vs. Haystack, Jeff Raitz, & George Weingroff (3/29/87) Squash and afterwards the Freebirds come out for a wild brawl in the ring as TV time runs out. They air a video regarding the return of Buzz Sawyer to the UWF. Handicap Match: “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Ken Massey & Jeff Raitz (4/5/87) Buzz returns to UWF and is as wild as ever. UWF Heavyweight Title: One Man Gang © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (4/5/87) Gilbert comes out with his arm wrapped up saying that he injured the arm the night before and couldn’t wrestle for 24 hours and that he had 2 hours left to go. Gang wins by forfeit. Steve Cox & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Angel of Death & Wild Bill Irwin (4/5/87) Doc looked awesome and it turned into a wild brawl with the Freebirds joining up in the brawl with Devastation Inc. and Irwin puts the whip into Roberts’ throat who bleeds from the mouth. Chavo Guerrero vs. Mike Boyette (4/5/87) Gary Young comes to ringside to distract Chavo but Chavo would win regardless before chasing after Young. Chavo gets the envelope out of Young’s hand and there was nothing in it. Sunshine cuts a promo in the ring which brings out Missy Hyatt to join her, which is funny considering their past. Nicola Roberts comes out and goes after Missy but Sunshine KOs her with the loaded purse. Dark Journey would come out to make the save as bad porn music starts playing. Savannah Jack vs. Gary Young (4/5/87) Iceman tries to jump Jack from behind but gets nailed with a Superkick. Jack puts the noose around Iceman’s neck but Gilbert, Steiner, & Sting jump him handcuffing him to the ropes. Iceman straps Jack until Chavo, Taylor, Houston, & Adams make the save. UWF Heavyweight Title: One Man Gang © vs. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer (4/5/87) Gang took a challenge against Dark Journey’s mystery man who ends up being the Mad Dog. Akbar says that Buzz isn’t a contender and of course TV time runs out. Man I would’ve loved to see the Gang against Buzz.
