Somehow those two work very well together. Miz's ability to gel with seemingly everyone is unparalleled

I legit think Miz is the greatest sports entertainer ever. At least of any that I have seen. Dude does WWE style better than anyone else has. Put him with anyone and he finds a way to make it work.

He just gets that shit, at least in terms of character beats, crowd engagement. He is still someone I consider very good in the ring, even if not the most athletic dude ever.

He made people care about Curtis Axel, Alex Riley, Damien Sandow, and Bo Rotunda. Truly, a miracle worker.

Hahaha, that shot of Lumis staring up at Miz was incredible. What a great moment.

For how terrible Kevin Dunn's camerawork is, I wonder if creative camera angles like this are also his brainchild.

Part of me thinks they can't wait to make references to the AEW mess on NXT tonight, but another part thinks post-Jesus HBK seems to have enough self awareness to realize how that would look for a show he runs to do that.

I doubt HBK - pre- or post-Jesus - pays any attention to AEW or cares about it any way.
