Former IWGP champ attempts suicide

Tadao Yasuda, a former IWGP heavyweight champion with New Japan, whose life has been plagued by huge gambling debts, attempted suicide on Friday morning.

 

Yasuda reported took an overdose of sleeping pills. He had told a friend on Thursday night of his thoughts and the friend found him asleep on Friday morning, rushed him to the hospital and appears to have saved his life.
