October 18, 20222 yr comment_5992645 Gallows & Anderson back on RAW. The opening match, a backstage segment, and managing AJ! and you'll get even more Gallows & Anderson on NXT too! And they're back just in time for Karl to get back to Saudi Arabia. (Of course Crown Jewel being the same day as what was Karl's next NEVER title defense in NJPW) I liked the idea of a JBL/Corbin pairing, but nothing at all changed about Corbin's presentation so it kind of just falls flat.
October 18, 20222 yr comment_5992646 I am not gonna lie. I kinda get a kick out of everyone going crazy because they'll get the Good Brothers always, all the time. These guys are such smooth operators. That's call working, bruthas.
October 18, 20222 yr comment_5992647 Cameron Grimes and the OC vs Joe Gacy and Grizzled Young Veterans sounds like someone posting the AI booking from a TEW game.
October 19, 20222 yr comment_5992677 I know they are trying to beat AEW head to head, but sending main roster WWE folks to NXT is kind of a no win situation. Either you have them beat all the NXT people and make them look second rate. or they lose to them and make the main roster person look like a chump.
October 19, 20222 yr comment_5992700 Shotzi and Quincy hosting Halloween Havoc is going to be awesome.
October 19, 20222 yr comment_5992707 Raw next week in Canada is going to be shown on Outdoor Life Network.
October 22, 20222 yr comment_5992819 We all love Sami, but is it weird I think it's underrated that he took something as ridiculous as "Sami Zayn gets adopted by the Bloodline" and get it over to the point it's legit going to be a little sad when it ends?
October 22, 20222 yr comment_5992822 Why does WWE keep making Ronda look like she has increasingly worse eye infections? Jesus H. At least they've accepted that she's in that category Randy Orton used to be in where they're 100% better as heels because they both are kind of IRL assholes naturally.

Nah, that KO/Sami Zayn title win is going to be fucking SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

October 22, 20222 yr comment_5992825 Also ngl I dug that Omos/Braun showdown, the match is going to be absolute dogshit for sure, but WWE is good at getting you hyped up to see stuff like that.
October 22, 20222 yr comment_5992826 Leaning in to Logan Paul's natural douchebag tendencies was such a no brainer move but I'm still kinda shocked WWE did it.

October 22, 20222 yr comment_5992838 Can we all just agree that ever since Sami turned heel he's slowly worked his way up the card by being awesome at everything? He was managing Cesaro and Nak as The Artists Collective and it ruled. He has a no crowd match with Danielson that ruled. The conspiracy theory stuff ruled. And then he made sure that the Jackass match wasn't garbage, but one of the best matches ever. It's no wonder he's Main Event Sami.
October 22, 20222 yr comment_5992839 That Knoxville feud might end up being his magnum opus. Not just the match, which was incredible, but the whole build to it. It all felt very organic, natural... it was the best. No wonder he got rewarded with the Honorary Uce role.

In that sense, yeah, he's made to work in Hollywood making shitty horror franchise re-boots over and over again. Isn't there some half-ass Cicada3301 references in this ? That's.... dated.
October 22, 20222 yr comment_5992861 He saw Black Phone (decent movie btw) and decided he could have made a better mask. I have never seen a man so afraid of his own strengths, which is being able to connect with the crowd. Last week he cut a very heartfelt, genuine promo, the crowd eats it up, but then they have to react to shitty scary monsterrrrsssss which will lead to crowd apathy. At least this time he ain't sporting Dahmer's glasses.

Sami understands the psychology of wrestling much better than people will give him credit for. There's no way the match with Johnny Knoxville had any right to be as good as it was for a celebrity Mania match and it turned out to be a legit fun and entertaining match in which he played to his strengths and the Jackass crew's strengths as well. 2022 has been the year of Sami Zayn and no one can convince me otherwise.

Oh, boy.
