I started paying closer attention right after the Toni Storm hip attack. Also those short Piledrivers always look like death. Was a good match.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994456 There's knowing Keith Lee is huge, and there's seeing his fist was like twice the size of Swerve's.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994457 Shoutout to Bowens, who by all accounts has been kayfabing his injury in public all week.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994459 This crowd has not given this match any chance, sad. I've liked what they've done so far in the ring but the fans seem too tired.
November 20, 20222 yr Author comment_5994460 I thought the crowd was hot for the finish, which was absolutely the right one. Some good stuff there
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994461 I really hope we get more from heel Swerve and he doesn't get thrown to the bushes for 3 months.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994462 Looks like there was some asshole getting ejected in the crowd, which took everyone's attention.

November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994467 Mox gotta stop copying the elbows and stomps from Danielson, every time he does them they look like shit.

November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994469 This is some straight up Ric Flair/Dusty Rhodes stuff with the knee work and I love it.
November 20, 20222 yr Author comment_5994472 They botched the Bret tribute spot but great match otherwise. Mox enjoyed playing heel. So glad Tony Khan decided to pull the trigger for once
November 20, 20222 yr Author comment_5994473 I think it was a bad idea to take the title off Wardlow, and worse, to put it on Joe the same night another WWE release got a win over your top star, but overall I think this was a very strong showing from AEW. There's the undeniable factor of low expectations, but overall the show was great
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994474 It was certainly easier to follow with "just" 10 matches but still felt 2 matches too long. I'm pretty sure Wardlow is getting the title back pretty soon so I wouldn't sweat Joe getting the W tonight.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994475 Well since MJF is still a heel, there's a program right there for Wardlow. At least we can be reasonably sure the blow off won't get fucked up again.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994476 I guess Starks and Wardlow get Dynamite title shots, I wonder who gets the PPV one, Revolution is gonna be in March so there's a looong time to figure that one out.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994481 I'm way behind cause I had to pause the PPV to do a show. But Hayter/ Storm is the best match so far.
November 20, 20222 yr comment_5994484 I would have had the Acclaimed match open the show. They've had to drag the crowd into this match.
