They show a fucking Macho Man video before the match as II tries to get Magnum TA to get on his side regarding the Poffo family. Macho in Mid-South would’ve been so fucking great. “Leaping” Lanny Poffo vs. Jeff Sword (12/7/83) Lanny uses the moonsault to win. Magnum TA vs. Tom Lintz (12/7/83) They show a video with II going over film with Magnum teaching him. Ross interviews Darsow trying to help him understand what he has done but Darsow doesn’t give a shit. JYD shows up slapping Darsow in the face but Darsow decides to help Volkoff beat on JYD. II gets Neidhart in an O’Connor Roll but Reed would run in and they go for the mask but Magnum would make the save. Magnum would run Reed to the floor as II would hit another kneelift for the win. Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Hacksaw Higgins (12/7/83) Wow Lawler in Mid-South this is great. Hacksaw Duggan vs. Nikolai Volkoff (12/7/83) Duggan would jump Volkoff as the Russian anthem played and the brawl was on. Volkoff would get the advantage using a bearhug but Duggan would counter although Volkoff would get out. Duggan then turns it into a slugfest but when he went for the spear, Volkoff moved and Duggan fell to the floor. Darsow would then show up and put Duggan in the Canadian Backbreaker before rolling him in the ring. Volkoff then hits his press backbreaker but Duggan pokes him in the eye. Duggan then attacks Darsow & Volkoff bringing a steel chair in the ring that would be used on him. JYD and the other faces would make the save. “Leaping” Lanny Poffo & Rick Rood vs. Tom Lintz & Doug Vines (12/7/83) Spotlight match for Poffo & Rood.
