Black Bart vs. Scott Sanders (Scott Steiner) (6/11/87) This is great seeing Scott as a rookie. The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry “Bamm Bamm†Gordy, Michael “PS†Hayes, & Buddy Roberts) vs. Mike Boyette, The Enforcer (Doug Gilbert), & Shaska Whatley (6/11/87) Boyette jumps Gordy as soon as he enters the ring and gets destroyed. The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) vs. Steve Cox & Davey Haskins (6/11/87) Good little match. “Capt. Redneck†Dick Murdoch & Rick Steiner vs. Shane Douglas & Jeff Raitz (6/11/87) Murdoch & Steiner look good and they cut a great promo after the match with Gilbert. Sting vs. The Red Devil (6/11/87) Squash. “Gentleman†Chris Adams vs. Bob Bradley (6/11/87) Squash. A training video with Dr. Death & Barry Switzer airs next. Steve Cox vs. Killer Khalifa (6/24/87) You may remember Khalifa as The Libyan and he gets squashed. “Capt. Redneck†Dick Murdoch vs. Jeff Raitz (6/24/87) Squash but a very fun one. The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry “Bamm Bamm†Gordy, Michael “PS†Hayes, & Buddy Roberts) vs. Angel of Death, The Enforcer (Doug Gilbert), & Shaska Whatley (6/24/87) The Birds look good and this was pretty fun. Gordy nearly killed Enforcer with a backdrop driver. Bubba & The Terminator show up as Gordy brawls with Bubba as Terminator puts Hayes in the claw and blades off of it. Terminator was Animal & Johnny Ace’s brother and they were putting him over here. They JIP Adams vs. Bart from the Superdome on 6/13. Shane Douglas vs. Davey Haskins (6/24/87) This is a rookie match with both men looking fine. Flair & John Ayers do an interview with Missy Hyatt. Western States Heavyweight Title: Barry Windham © vs. Rick Steiner (6/24/87) This had some really good back and forth action before Steiner hit a fucking vicious Steinerline for a nearfall. Steiner kept the advantage before missing a diving fistdrop from the middle rope. Windham makes a good comeback using some great punches and gets a powerslam for a nearfall. Windham gets a sleeper as a reversal of a Steinerline but Steiner would run him into the turnbuckle. Steiner would hit Windham with a back elbow sending him over the top rope as we go to commercial. They come back with both men brawling on the floor and Steiner would post Windham before going back to the ring. Windham would climb up on the apron where Steiner would suplex him back into the ring but Windham would hold him down and got the three count. Fun match but not enough for a nomination. Dusty cuts a promo next on Gilbert & Murdoch holding a bullrope and says that Missy has a mouth that suck the chrome off a trailer hitch ball. Dusty rules it here.
