Posted October 24, 200717 yr comment_5423060 The Barbarian vs. Josh Stroud (3/13/85) Squash then Reed jumps Barbarian and gets his clothes ripped off. Ted DiBiase & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Terry Daniels & Shawn Michaels (3/13/85) Fun little match with DiBiase & Doc dishing out the pain. Terry Taylor vs. Kamala (3/13/85) Kamala manhandles Taylor early in the match with Taylor using punches to keep Kamala at bay but Kamala would just shrug them off basically. Kamala drops Taylor neck first on the top rope but Taylor would come back for a dropkick but missed. Kamala then hit the big splash on Taylor and tried to go up top but Taylor would roll to the floor. Akbar would catch Taylor and posted him face first with Taylor juicing. Kamala started pounding on the cut then biting it before missing a splash in the corner. Taylor makes a comeback but would throw Kamala into Carl Fergie before hitting Kamala with the five-arm. Jake shows up but Taylor gets him in a backdrop suplex and as Kamala would try to slam Taylor, Kamala tripped on Jake with Taylor falling on him to get the pin. Kamala goes nuts after the match hitting everyone and this was pretty fun. 4 Way Elimination Match: The Rock n Roll Express vs. Brad Armstrong & Tom Prichard vs. The Dirty White Boys (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts & Jack Victory (3/13/85) Fine for what it was and the RnR/DWB section was good. Brickhouse Brown vs. Jack Victory (3/27/85) Brick is getting the push and looks good. Kamala vs. Shawn Michaels (3/27/85) Kamala destroys Michaels but Terry Taylor comes out and beats on Akbar then piledrives Friday on the floor. The Barbarian vs. Mike Jackson (3/27/85) Destruction. DiBiase cuts a promo about losing his loser leaves match at the Superdome. “Gentleman” Chris Adams & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Terry Daniels & Tom Prichard (3/27/85) Adams & Prichard have a history going back to Los Angeles 3 years prior and they show some chemistry here. “The Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. Thor (Kevin Kelly) (3/27/85) Not real good but the brawl at the end with Adams, Doc, & Taylor was good. The Dirty White Boys (Tony Anthony & Len Denton) vs. The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) (3/27/85) I don’t know why the LX didn’t team more in this time period. DWB’s show great teamwork here in beating the hell out of Horner and Armstrong had enough so he jumped in the ring but was forced out by Carl Fergie. Denton would finish off Horner with the Samoan Drop as Armstrong never even really got in the match. Steve Casey vs. Paul Brown (3/27/85) Casey has the English style going and looks good.
