UWF Tag Titles: The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) © vs. The Terminator & Gary Young (7/11/87)

Okay match that led up to Terminator loading up his glove and putting the claw on Horner but Gordy would run out and nailed the Terminator with Horner covering to get the win.

Terry Taylor makes his return to TV with Ross trying to allude to his car wreck but Taylor would say he was on vacation.

Shane Douglas & Davey Haskins vs. Bob Bradley & The Enforcer (Doug Gilbert) (7/11/87)

The rookies get a spotlight match. Gary Young is at ringside screaming about not being considered a rookie.

Gilbert & Murdoch do a promo at ringside about bullrope matches.

Dusty & Dr. Death do a retort.

Taped Fist: Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy vs. Black Bart (7/11/87)

There was some tremendous punches thrown in this one with some fine wrestling around it as well. We go to a commercial break and come back with Bart juicing from being posted and Gordy just beating on him. Bart is really gushing here as Gordy chunks him to the floor and slams his head into the railing. Gordy continues to nail Bart with his taped fist but Bart would foul Gordy right in the balls leading to an offensive attack but Bart is really weak although he still fires some good punches. Bart slams Gordy on the railing on the floor before bringing him back in the ring but Gordy would reverse an irish whip throwing Bart into the referee. Akbar tries to get involved but fails and Gordy gets the branding iron using it a couple of times before Angel of Death & The Terminator run in. Gordy is getting triple teamed with Terminator getting his claw on Gordy before the LX would make the save. I rewatched the match on this disc and have decided to nominate this.

Bunkhouse Match: “Gentleman” Chris Adams, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, & Sting vs. Angel of Death, “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert, & Rick Steiner (7/11/87)

This is a wild brawl with Gilbert bumping like a madman for Dusty who was awesome here punting Angel in the balls and just elbowing people. Gilbert juices from a Dusty DDT and has to be pulled to the floor by his partners as the show goes off. I would love to see this in full.

They do a feud rundown between Adams & Taylor and a promo by Adams & Sting.

Gordy cuts a promo about Devastation Inc. with John Ayers.

Western States Heavyweight Title: Barry Windham © vs. “Capt. Redneck” Dick Murdoch (7/11/87)

Taylor is on commentary for this and is pretty funny. This is one is going long and there is some really good solid wrestling early in the match. Murdoch throws a great dropkick for a nearfall before going back to work on Windham’s left arm, which was his main focus. Windham would hit a neckbreaker on Murdoch who sold it awesomly doing the Curly spot and Windham followed with the first punch of the match for a nearfall. Murdoch would roll to the floor where Windham would hit an atomic drop before going back to the ring but would go back to the floor for a slugfest that Murdoch got the better of. Murdoch would try to suplex Windham off the apron back into the ring but Windham would fall on him for a nearfall and they would run head first into each other off the ropes with Windham falling to the floor. We now go into full slugfest mode with both men just beating the shit out of each other with huge bombs and Murdoch’s selling is so great here. Murdoch would go up to the top rope and his mission trying to climb up was awesome and then he would get press slammed for his trouble. Windham would go for the figure-four but Murdoch would hit him with the microphone to break the hold as Gilbert distracts Carl Fergie. Windham is juicing from that shot and Murdoch would go to work on the cut with elbow smashes and punches but can’t really do a lot due to selling his left leg. Windham would kick the leg whenever he could and Murdoch sold it like death before finally locking the figure-four back in but Murdoch would get to the ropes. We are back to a slugfest with 30 seconds left and Murdoch would hit the brainbuster with less than 10 seconds left but Carl Fergie was distracted with Gilbert as time ran out. This was fucking awesome and a slam dunk nomination.

Taped Fist: Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy vs. Black Bart (7/11/87)

I am going to go no on this one. Punches were good, but we miss Bart getting busted open, they AAA both Bart's post commercial bump to the floor and the branding iron shot. With so many great brawls on this set, this doesn't make the cut for me

Western States Heavyweight Title: Barry Windham © vs. “Capt. Redneck” Dick Murdoch (7/11/87)

Yeah this is a top ten match. Murdoch was so awesome, I loved all of the exhaustion selling and the knee stuff. I also love Murdoch as New Jack grabbing random foriegn objects from the ringside. First 15 minutes of arm work were spectacular also. Definite match, probably will end up in my top ten.
