UWF Heavyweight Title: Big Bubba Rogers © vs. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams (7/11/87) Dusty will be tied up with Akbar with the bullrope. Doc starts throwing bombs at the bell but Bubba would drop Doc with a clothesline as he tried a football tackle but Doc would get back up throwing more bombs before missing another football tackle in the corner. Bubba would lock in a modified cobra clutch before going to his striking game but would try a piledriver and missed. Doc tries to slam Bubba but he would block it and resumed his offensive attack. Doc would get a second wind soon though and slammed Bubba twice, which would send him to the floor. We go to a commercial break after Bubba enters the ring and when we come back both men are on their knees just going to war on each other with Bubba juicing. Doc would hit Bubba with a nutshot then followed with a dropkick but would knock heads with Bubba sending both to the mat. Bubba would get up first and locked in an armbar on Doc who would get up and started pounding Bubba to break the hold but would get poked in the eyes. Bubba would climb up top and hit a diving body press for a nearfall and Akbar would get on the apron with Dusty jerking him off, which got Bubba’s attention so Doc grabbed him and put him in the Oklahoma Stampede to win the title. They show the locker room celebration with the babyfaces afterward. This was just a hard hitting brawl and a definite nomination. The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) © vs. Killer Khalifa & The Red Devil (7/21/87) Champs look good here. Big Bubba Rogers vs. Chief White Eagle (7/21/87) Squash. They show the history of Adams & Taylor. Shane Douglas vs. Davey Haskins (7/21/87) Rookie match of the week and they have big plans for Douglas but this goes to a draw. The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael “PS” Hayes & Buddy Roberts) vs. Mike Boyette & Bob Bradley (7/21/87) Boyette has his hair in braids and with Missy Hyatt’s commentary this is a hilarious segment. Steve Cox vs. Rick Steiner (7/21/87) Really competitive match with Cox coming along pretty good but Cox gets chunked to the floor and Murdoch attacks him for the DQ. The commentary for this match was hilarious along with Murdoch’s shirt and he cuts a 5-star burial promo on Sting. Devastation Inc. has a family portrait promo with the whole crew (Angel of Death, Black Bart, Big Bubba Rogers, & The Terminator) Sting vs. Gary Young (7/21/87) Pretty much a squash early on but Young would get some offense in. Sting was about to finish the match when Steiner attacked him for the DQ. Shaska Whatley vs. Chief White Eagle (7/21/87) Squash. Sting vs. Bob Bradley (7/21/87) Squash. Steve Cox vs. The Enforcer (Doug Gilbert) (7/21/87) This is the rookie match of the week and Gary Young would come to the ring tripping up Cox. Cox would chase Young around the building brawling with him and Cox lost by countout. Cox would come back and hit his russian legsweep on Enforcer anyway. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. The Red Devil (7/21/87) Squash. Akbar comes to ringside and picks up the UWF Heavyweight Title belt with Doc going for it after the match but he would get jumped from behind by Bubba. Doc would fight back but Akbar would bring a chair in and they laid out Doc. Akbar would leave with the belt and Doc chasing after them then found them and the brawl was on. This was a great brawl. UWF Tag Titles: The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & “Capt. Redneck” Dick Murdoch (7/21/87) Murdoch works on Armstrong’s right arm early with a wakigatame before tagging in Gilbert where it would turn more into a back and forth match. LX would show good teamwork switching in and out keeping the pressure on Murdoch then Gilbert but Gilbert would get Horner in their corner where Murdoch had gotten a stick and used it on Horner’s throat. Murdoch would continue to use the stick with Gilbert getting his shots in as well. Gilbert used a great Tiger Suplex roll on Horner for a nearfall then kept the attack going. Gilbert would hit a backdrop suplex but hurt himself in the process but got the tag to Murdoch who broke the stick back out but Horner would get it from him and used it on him. Armstrong would get the hot tag and the 4-way brawl was on until Steiner ran in after a ref bump. Steiner would help Gilbert for a spike piledriver attempt on Horner but Sting would run out as TV time would run out. This was good stuff and a maybe nomination.

At one point Ross says that they are approaching the 30 minute mark and we have seen only about 10. What we did see didn't blow me away, but I am thinking this is too cut up UWF Tag Titles: The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & “Capt. December 16, 200717 yr comment_5425402 UWF Tag Titles: The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) © vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & “Capt. Redneck” Dick Murdoch (7/21/87) Okay we actually have a finish on this copy of the disc. This was easily the best Lightning Express tag, Murdoch was awesome as the Shiek stabbing Horner with a pencil, and they have the great payback spot with Horner stabbing him back. Super hot crowd, and a fine finish with Murdoch punching the ref and getting DQed as TV time runs out. I am nominating this
