August 27, 20232 yr comment_6010276 For all you omen gamblers, "Three marines killed in US military aircraft crash off northern Australia coast during training exercise. The Osprey aircraft crashed in the Northern Territory’s Tiwi Islands on Sunday morning." Jericho's paying $4.50 for each dollar placed... My dog's called Monty, so I'm all aboard Daddy Ass (ahem).

August 27, 20232 yr comment_6010283 Watched Collision last night and now I can say I’m properly hyped. Whatever deficiencies in the booking or this guy not getting along with that guy, really melts away when considering the way this roster of matches has been set up, as basically the company’s coming out party internationally as it was when it began four years ago. I thought this years WrestleMania was perfect in a way I didn’t see coming. It felt more reflective of the entire history of professional wrestling in ways that were just multiplied by everyone’s effort and ingenuity towards putting on the best show possible. I think today will be no different, with the added twist of it being London and Wembley Stadium and a new market for a company that is as different to WWE as it also is obvious that they’ve been enriched by talent on screen and off that honed their craft either in the WWE or elsewhere across American indies or internationally in some cases.
August 27, 20232 yr Author comment_6010284 I do think one of the weaker parts of the show is that really none of the results are really in doubt outside probably the women’s title match. One of the things that really made other shows AEW has put on stand out was when doubt was able to creep in. This looks like so much chalk.

August 27, 20232 yr comment_6010288 You can always tell what shape Paul Wight is in based on how his chokeslam looks. Prime Giant used to drive his opponents through the pits of hell
August 27, 20232 yr comment_6010289 Man, say what you want the build, but I am hyped as FUCK for this show. It is a massively historic event and I am really glad we get to witness it
August 27, 20232 yr comment_6010290 Adam Cole has been putting in time at the gym. A good workout buddy really changes everything
August 27, 20232 yr Author comment_6010291 Kangaroo Kick popped me. Hilarious that they put them over, too.
August 27, 20232 yr comment_6010293 So happy that Shida gets to have a match in front of 80k plus people after carrying the load during the pandemic.
August 27, 20232 yr Author comment_6010294 That was a good use of the car, Rolling Thunder was inspired stuff
August 27, 20232 yr Author comment_6010296 I figured this would be the opener, but it still speaks volumes about what the viewpoint is of this show.
August 27, 20232 yr comment_6010299 Joe has that Brock deal where he somehow looks more scary when he's laughing

Since they’re obviously not going on last, I think this is very smart placement for this match. Get the crowd while they’re molten and before they inevitably get burned out.
