One Man Gang 9/2/82 This was a missing week of TV, this is a fun match with Murdoch doing some really great short punches out of a bear hug, typical clusterfuck Mid-South finish. Fun but not a nomination Ted DiBiase/Hacksaw Duggan v. JYD/Mr. Olympia 9/2/82 This has Mr. Wrestling II as a special referee and is a damn fun match between all four guys. II is great as fiesty special ref, you then have the fake II come to ringside and kick the real II in the head and count the pin. Not a blow away match like the Loser Leaves town between the four, but I am nominating it. Stagger Lee/Mr. Olympia v. Ted DiBiase/Matt Borne 12/18/82 Olympia is the suprise replacement for an injured Wrestling II. Stagger Lee is fucking off the chain in this, throwing hands like crazy, and he and DiBiase are brawling like kings. Man alive did Lee have some great looking combos, no wonder he used to take JYD's milk money. You have your classic Duggan spear finish, and Olympia takes a vacation which leads to his heel turn.

November 12, 200717 yr comment_5423845 Mid-South Tag Titles – SR – Mr. Wrestling II: Junkyard Dog & Mr. Olympia © vs. Ted DiBiase & Hacksaw Duggan (9/1/82) The real II beat up the fake II before the match and is the referee here. DiBiase & Duggan work over Olympia early and II won’t let them do any illegal business here but they would tag in and out keeping the pressure on Olympia. Olympia would get the hot tag to JYD who came in with both guns blazing setting off a 4-way brawl. Duggan would spear II by accident as JYD hits the big Thump on DiBiase as the fake II shows up loading up his boot then kicks II in the head. DiBiase would then load up the glove and KO’s JYD after he hits the Thump on Duggan and gets the pin. This decision would soon be overturned. I liked the 8/18 match better but this one was still really good and it should go on the block. No DQ Loser Leaves Town for the Mid-South Tag Titles: Matt Borne & Ted DiBiase © vs. Mr. Olympia & Stagger Lee (12/8/82) Olympia is subbing for II as he was injured by Kamala earlier in the show. This is a brawl at the bell as the champs have to go to the floor to get away. Stagger throws some awesome punches here along with throwing some nice headbutts. Olympia would come in to slow the pace down a little before tagging Stagger back in who was just brutal with Borne as he headbutted him but held him up by the hair so he could do it some more. It would soon turn into a 4-way brawl before Olympia would lock in the sleeper on DiBiase and Stagger would press slam Borne off the top rope. Duggan would show up and hit Olympia with his loaded hat that would send Olympia out of town. This was a very fun match and it goes on the block.
