Word seems to be getting out that Osamu Kido has passed away. Osamu Kido was an NJPW original and a NJPW dojo trainer during the 2000s. He was a brilliant wrestler. Never became a main event guy but always had great matches throughout his career and was a key part of the big UWF vs NJPW feud during the 1980s. He was also a student of Karl Gotch and Gotch spoke highly of him. Some said Gotch favored him the most and that he was like a son to him. RIP.

Edit - Nikkan Sports has more info on this. Kido has been battling cancer for the past several years and underwent chemotherapy. He was 73 years old. https://www.nikkansports.com/battle/news/202312140000643.html

Watch Kowaremono The Animation 2 on hentai ko che

He was 73 years old.

The circumstances behind his career are quite moving. His older brother Tokio entered the JWA in 1962, but became paralyzed after taking a bad bump in training. Osamu was inspired to fulfill his brother's dream when he came of age.
