Posted November 4, 200717 yr comment_5423466 Kris Z comments... Street Fight: Hacksaw Duggan vs. Ted DiBiase (7/29/83) This is a come as you are street fight and it’s a great brawl. Lots of great punches thrown here by both men and both men use the other’s clothes such as shirts, belts, & boots as weapons. Akbar comes in and distracts Duggan so that DiBiase could get the advantage but Akbar accidentally hits DiBiase with a terrible chairshot. Duggan then starts to beat the hell out of Akbar and DiBiase accidentally hits Akbar with it before Duggan picks it up and uses it on DiBiase for the win. Good heated brawl and I’ll put it down as a definite. Will's comments... This completes the trifecta of AWESOME Dibiase-Duggan Houston matches. Between this, the NO DQ and the Stips match, you have the matches to back up the feud that transpired on TV. All of these will end up high in my ballot with the stips match as my working #1. I agree with Kris that this is another definite nominee.
November 6, 200717 yr comment_5423564 Street Fight: Hacksaw Duggan vs. Ted DiBiase (7/29/83) I thought there were some crazy chair shots in this and Duggan's final punch was pretty awesome. Still not much blood hurts this, and this was the least of the three Houston DiBiase v. Duggan brawls. Goes on for now, but we will see.
November 6, 200717 yr Author comment_5423582 The lack of blood does not bother me at all esp. since alot of the spots foreshadowed the other two matches and this was set-up match more than it was a bloody payoff. Still, compared to alot of other stuff already considered on the disc and compared to a ton of Irish Boy's Club brawls, this is head and shoulders above the rest.
