The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. David Peterson & Brett Sawyer (3/30/86)

This is JIP from Tulsa and was an okay match.

Hacksaw Duggan vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts (12/16/83)

This is JIP from Houston. Jake spends the early part of this working on Duggan’s neck in preparation for the DDT by dropping him on the top rope then going with a reverse chinlock then turning it into a reverse headlock ala Randy Orton. Duggan would power out but Jake would catch him with a knee to the gut as he ran the ropes then followed with his high kneelift. Jake would get a bodyslam then followed up with an elbow for a nearfall but would miss a back elbow off the middle rope. Duggan would start stomping his feet and his comeback was on hitting the Mongolian Chop then bashing Jake’s head into the turnbuckle followed up with his great punches. Jake would come back with punches of his own and we have a slugfest until Jake goes for a backdrop that Duggan would leapfrog out of and hit his diving spear to win. This was okay while it lasted and they showed this as Jake has left for WWF.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Perry Jackson & Tracy Smothers (3/86)

Squash.

Steel Cage Match: “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes vs. Arn Anderson (4/6/86)

This is from New Orleans as the JCP guys worked some UWF shows before the Crockett Cup. Dusty would pop Arn with the Bionic Elbow to shut him up early. We go to a commercial break and come back with Dusty working on Arn’s leg but Arn would come back working on Dusty’s leg. The cage here is around the ring, which is totally different than the JCP cages so they work this differently. Arn attacks Dusty on the floor and rams his head into the cage with Dusty juicing while working on his leg. Dusty would grab Arn though and rammed him into the cage with Arn juicing. Dusty continues to pound Arn relentlessly with his Bionic Elbow but missed with a knee smash and hurt the knee with Arn immediately going to work on the leg. Arn takes Dusty’s boot off and works on the old injury but Dusty would grab the boot soon and nailed Arn with it. Dusty limps around so Arn takes him down again and goes back to work on the leg. Dusty would get Arn off of him though and started using the Dusty offense with the elbows and the flip, flop, & fly before catching with a cross body block to get the victory. Dusty gets the boot and whacks Arn again after the match. Fun match but not nomination material.
