Okay, it didn't actually suck - both of these guys are great, obviously - but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long for what it needed to be. It was Ospreay's "debut" and obviously a showcase for him - fine - so it should've been a quick 8-10 minute burst of adrenaline. The way Takeshita has been used has made him an absolute non-factor. He needs to be rehabbed. I was actually rooting for him to win the match, because that would've been a genuine surprise. Yeah, yeah, he's still young - but so are a lot of other people in AEW who are on this seemingly never-ending treadmill to nowhere.
