Bunch of crap with one good match

 

Terry Gordy + Angel of Death v. Steve Williams + Chavo Guerrerro

 

This was a ton of fun, as you had your great Williams v. Gordy sections, and some awesome Chavo including a great DDT counter to a bearhug, still it had a pretty ass ending with a DQ for throwing in a chair, and Angel of Death stinks. On the cusp, but I am going to say no

This is a rematch from their draw a couple of weeks back and Jack would win with help from Mike George.

Chavo Guerrero & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Angel of Death & Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy (1/10/87)

 

This starts out as a wild brawl early with Doc & Gordy throwing bombs and Gordy doing his own version of the Flair bump in the corner. Chavo & Doc would then start working on Gordy’s heavily bandaged leg, which he would never get surgery for because he didn’t want to miss any of his Japanese tours. Gordy would eventually tag in the Angel who would start pounding on Chavo. Doc would get the tag in and he started throwing around Angel who would then tag Gordy back in so Doc could give him a German Suplex. They go to commercial and we come back with Chavo in the ring getting beaten by Gordy so we have missed quite a bit. Doc would get tired of this so he started beating on both Angel & Gordy as Chavo rolls to the floor where he gets beat on by all the Birds at ringside. Angel would lock in a bearhug on Chavo who would escape it with a DDT but Gordy would tag in so Chavo couldn’t get to Doc. Chavo would continue to get worked over but he would get Angel in his own German Suplex but Angel would tag in Gordy who would give Chavo his own German Suplex for a 2 count. Chavo would then hit an enzuigiri on Gordy trying to get to Doc but Gordy would put Chavo in a piledriver although Chavo would reverse with a backdrop. Angel would tag in and so would Doc but Carl Fergie didn’t see it so Chavo was thrown to the floor where Hayes would post him. Doc says fuck it and starts beating on Angel & Gordy again so Angel brings a steel chair in the ring and Fergie calls for a DQ before it is even used. Gordy tries to piledrive Doc on the chair but he reverses so Gordy picks up the chair and tries to hit Doc but hits Angel instead. Doc then grabs the chair and starts bashing Angel with it as the Birds leave the area. Shit this was a fun match but damn that ending stunk like hell and prevents this from being a nomination.
