Misty Blue vs. Comrade Orga (8/18/87) This was not good. Shaska Whatley comes out and introduces Tiger Conway Jr. as his new partner forming the Jive Tones. The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy, Michael “PS” Hayes, & Buddy Roberts) vs. Ron Ellis, The Enforcer (Doug Gilbert), & Killer Khalifa (The Libyan) (8/18/87) Squash. UWF TV Title: Shane Douglas © vs. Rick Steiner (8/18/87) Steiner started this off with a brutal backdrop suplex on Shane and just kept up with the stiff offense as he unloaded on Douglas. Steiner also works some good mat offense here but Douglas is still green as grass here although he tries hard. Steiner would backdrop Shane on top of Edward Faulk then threw Shane to the floor but rolled him back in for a pin when Faulk would DQ Steiner for throwing Shane over the top rope. Steiner was great here. The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) vs. Angel of Death & Shaska Whatley (8/18/87) LX looked really good here and Angel/Shaska were fine together as well. Armstrong would get a sunset flip off the top rope on Angel as he tried to suplex Horner for the win. Good little match and afterwards the champs would cut a promo that would bring out Gilbert & Taylor for a debate. Jim Ross brings out Jimmy Suzuki and this only means one thing that would happen later on. Black Bart vs. Ron Ellis (8/18/87) Squash. Ron Simmons vs. The Red Devil (8/18/87) Squash. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Terry Taylor vs. Davey Haskins & Bobby Howell (8/18/87) Gilbert & Taylor look great here then attack Suzuki after the match, which would happen in a few angles because Suzuki got off on it. Suzuki hits a gusher before the LX runs the heels off. UWF TV Title: Shane Douglas © vs. Angel of Death (8/18/87) Angel’s push has really died over the last few months as he is jobbing to the rookie but dominates most of the match. “Gorgeous” Gary Young vs. Ken Massey (8/18/87) Squash. Mike Boyette would come out after the match and would congratulate Young for winning Rookie of the Year. The Jive Tones (Tiger Conway Jr. & Shaska Whatley) vs. Gill Hooley & Craig Whitford (8/18/87) Squash. “Gentleman” Chris Adams & Sting vs. Mike Boyette & Killer Khalifa (The Libyan) (8/18/87) Squash. The Freebirds cut a great promo with Terry Gordy breaking out shoot comments on Missy.
