Posted November 7, 200717 yr comment_5423644 Nikita Koloff vs. Eddie Gilbert (10/19/87) Gilbert & Taylor had stolen Nikita’s NWA World TV Title belt on TBS recently so Nikita wants revenge. Nikita dominates most of the match not surprisingly but Gilbert would get his offense in and Nikita sold well and bumped for him. Nikita would make a comeback which would force Gilbert to pull out brass knux but he would miss and Nikita nailed him with the Russian Sickle. Taylor would run out though and bashed Nikita with the title belt. Dusty would help Nikita clean house on Taylor & Gilbert then Nikita grabbed his belt back. “The Total Package” Lex Luger vs. Dale Lapeyrouse (10/19/87) Squash. The Jive Tones (Tiger Conway Jr. & Shaska Whatley) vs. Shane Douglas & Ron Simmons (10/19/87) This is incomplete as TV time runs out. The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Gary Phelps & Keith Steinborn (10/19/87) Squash. Barry Windham vs. Clement Fields (10/19/87) Squash. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert & Terry Taylor vs. Terry Jones & Alan Martin (10/19/87) Squash. Sting vs. The Enforcer (Doug Gilbert) (10/19/87) Squash. The Jive Tones get into a confrontation with Shaska calling Simmons a “pretty negro” and it ends up with them jabbing the cane in his face. Black Bart & The Canadian Kodiaks vs. Steve Cox, Davey Haskins, & Dale Lapeyrouse (10/19/87) Squash. “Nature Boy” Ric Flair & “The Total Package” Lex Luger vs. Shane Douglas & Ron Simmons (10/19/87) Fun to see the Horsemen against new opponents. Flair goes out of his way to make Douglas & Simmons look good. Luger wasn’t in much which was good and Douglas played the FIP pretty well showing some fire. Douglas would never make the hot tag though as Luger put him in the Torture Rack and that was it. #1 Contenders Match for the UWF Tag Titles: Shane Douglas & Sting vs. The Jive Tones (Tiger Conway Jr. & Shaska Whatley) (10/16/87) It wasn’t long before this broke down into a 4-way brawl and Shaska would get the cane but would miss Douglas coming off the top rope hitting Conway and Douglas would get the pin. UWF Tag Titles: The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) © vs. The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) (10/16/87) The VQ on this is pretty horrible and this is clipped up. Sheeps would win the titles with Ace’s help and the flagpole. Good for what it was. “The Total Package” Lex Luger vs. Chance McQuade (11/1/87) Squash. The Jive Tones (Tiger Conway Jr. & Shaska Whatley) vs. Trent Knight & Max McGyver (11/1/87) Squash. Simmons would brawl with the Tones after the match. Shane Douglas & Tim Horner vs. Unnamed Jobbers (11/1/87) Douglas has replaced Horner as Armstrong got injured. Mighty Wilbur vs. Tony Suber (11/1/87) Wilbur is hilarious. Larry Zbyszko vs. Dexter Wescott (11/1/87) Squash. Sting vs. “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (11/1/87) Sting just whips Gilbert’s ass from the bell but Gilbert would recover and use his dirty tactics to get Sting off his feet but that wouldn’t last long as Sting would power up and would send Gilbert to the floor to regroup. TV time would run out here. Western States Heritage Title: Barry Windham © vs. Larry Zbyszko (11/15/87) UWF TV is back in Tulsa for the first time in 6 months. Windham looks good at the beginning but Zbyszko stalls and stalls and stalls. Zbyszko would do his old trick of uncovering the turnbuckle and Windham would hit it but would get his foot on the rope during the pinfall so Zbyszko nailed him again then went back on the offensive. Zbyszko would get thrown into the exposed turnbuckle of course and Windham would get back on offense bashing Zbyszko’s head on the turnbuckle twice. Baby Doll would give Zbyszko a foreign object and Zbyszko nailed him to get the victory. Tim Horner would come out though and told Pee Wee Anderson to check Larry’s tights but would do it himself and pulled it out. Zbyszko would give Horner a swinging neckbreaker then pounded Windham with the belt busting him open. This ended up being a pretty good match. The Midnight Express (“Beautiful” Bobby Eaton & “Sweet” Stan Lane) vs. Chuck West & Phil Wiley (11/15/87) Squash.

Plu Windham getting the payback spot. Don't care for Dusty finishes, but this is a nomination worthy match. November 87 though wih Pee Wee Anderson as a ref and WWN on the ring apron this is an NWA match not a UWF match
