say what you will about this segment otherwise but both of them slowly walking towards each other reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey when the astronauts discover the monolith. Reminded me instantly but just one of those things you bat away with before the booking of it starts.

But it has remained in my head for awhile. Last year I was actually inspired to rewatch and review Gladiator on Letterboxd after WrestleMania and in no small part because of Russell Crowe's cameo.
