Danielson is absolutely fucking insane. Getting his bloody face get kicked in right in front of his 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son. Then SCREAMING at them "I love you" while getting his chest kicked in and firing up while Wembley started to come unglued. Bah fucking gawd.

Swerve better get that fucking belt back at Tacoma but holy fucking shit am I happy we get to see the best cotdamn wrestling in the world for another month in AEW TV/PPV.

Only if worth a damn means not as worthless as Hook/Jericho. That was incredibly disappointing. Are we at the point where we ask what Britt Baker has done other than bleed against Thunder Rosa?

I've been at that point for years, baby.

Also, Bryan is GOATed as shit. Truly one of a kind.

Good for him and I will say he looks pretty crisp.

Also I don’t recognize any of these theme songs. lol.

I thought he looked pretty bad to be honest, at least the early stuff with OC and Okada. The segment with ZSJ looked good though, but I tend to credit ZSJ for that.

I disagree with you there but hey we all are entitled to our opinions. So we will just have to agree to disagree.

I thought he did good as well. The only thing that didn't work was the head stand spot he likes to do in the corner. He tried it 3 times and every one felt clunky. But I think it was because the people he tried to do it with didn't understand what they were supposed to do so they just stood there and never put themselves in positions to get kicked.

Literally the king at which all must come from this point forward. Good luck. Odds are someone will surpass him as long as this business continues because that's what happens. But I'm not betting on it happening in my lifetime.

Maybe I am biased for being a huge fan, but I thought Nigel looked pretty damn good for a guy whose last match was in December of 2011

Everything he did but looked good, but incredibly slow, to the point that it overcame his mechanics and fluidity. That didn't make it any less of a moment or less fun, but my man was working on 0.5/0.75 speed.

To be fair I would also assume Nigel was probably nervous as shit that his first match in 12 years would be in front of 55k people, he jumped right in the deep end of the pool. He seemed to get better as things went on, and I would expect if this is the start of a mini run for him he'll be fine once he gets some reps in.

That's what I meant. yes, the WoS spots looked like slow motion movement, 65-year-old Johnny Saint did that stuff way slicker. And yes, it might just have been a combination of ring rust and nerves, time will tell.

Or not. If he never steps foot in a ring again this was still a memorable moment in a great match on an an all time show. Certainly scratched the itch for me in the best way possible.
