That was a perfect angle to close out the show. Hangman's derange cowboy gimmick has been such a home run, I went from not giving a single fuck about him to looking forward to what his hating ass is gonna do next.

Swerve better win though! I don't give a damn about Page still not having a W over him!

Also, we need more Mark Briscoe, every hyped promo he cuts is gem.

I was on the phone watching the end of Dynamite with no sound.

Hangman is nuts. I was wondering why Swerve just didn’t call the police but I guess he will dish out his own brand of justice. Hangman trying to burn down the block! Ha!

I also HATED that trios match main event! It’s everything I hate about pro wrestling. It was just a tumbling exhibition. Guys were making faces and The Elite were wearing stupid outfits. What’s crazy is they have an insanely talented roster. They just continue to make the choice to do dumb stuff.

At least Swerve and Hangman will have some good old fashioned hate. I like the evil Magnum TA gimmick Hangman is pulling off.

Being completely honest, that Hangman/Swerve angle was the best I've seen in awhile. Part of it is because I fell for that shit. Nana & Swerve buying the house felt like a real, genuine moment because I've seen multiple pro athletes in other areas of sport do the same thing previously. Obviously I've seen something similar in wrestling before, like when Orton/Wyatt did it but I didn't see this one coming because it was well done. Almost maybe because I'm not a weekly viewer & consume a lot of my wrestling content nowadays via clips but yeah, well done. Good shit.

Swerve introducing his childhood home out of the blue was an obvious angle alert, but there's nothing wrong with that if it's done well. And it was a pretty great angle in isolation. However, it highlighted one of my biggest issues with modern wrestling. Swerve being presented as sympathetic so soon after trying to cripple Bryan Danielson in front of his family is too much mood whiplash for me. The idea of wrestlers as empty vessels who simply fill whatever role a particular show calls for is something I will never accept.
