Apparently it puts me on an island with my boy Wilson, but MXM is an absolute zero for me. On a good day. Just doesn't move the needle at all in the right direction.

Page/White is absolutely rocking now but it feels a PPV or 2 early for for a babyface White to face this strong a heel. Just not there yet as a face but no surprise the work is overcoming it.

Well that three way kicked all sorts of ass, even if the ending ended up being angle advancement it still didn't bring it down for me imo

I didn't love the finish but it served a purpose, builds TV and the Australia show, and that match was absolutely bonkers and somehow exceeded expectations. Loved it.

I liked how in the three-way, Ospereay's and Ricochet's stupid power ranger spot/pose resulted in a foot to the face from Takeshita. If you're going to, in kayfabe, fuck around during a match, then you should get your face kicked in

In the moment I didn't like the ending. Its not at all what I wanted and isn't remotely satisfying to me. But its probably not the end. This may set up the next 3-6+ months of feuds at the top of the card. It may set up Danielson returning once or twice next year. I may feel very differently about it all then. But right now it was a sour note to wrap an absolutely incredible, riveting match.

I thought the ending was perfect, Bryan didn't quit and went out on his shield like we all knew he would. Since him losing would already be a bummer, it's the perfect time to do a big heat angle to get the new Big Bads over huge.  The babyfaces sitting around the ring looking despondent really sold what a big deal it was. I was sort of expecting Nigel to get involved since it seemed like they were setting it up when Mox took a swipe at him, but I suppose it will probably be the next part of the story.

Sometimes the bad guys need to get a big win to make it even sweeter when the heroes prevail.

I am sure some people will like it but it's also easy to see how and why others will hate it.

The announcers also did a horrible job at getting that angle over. Ross basically by saying "where have they been" about talent coming down the ramp to save Bryan. Then Excalibur just basically on the verge of tears with Tony spouting off his whole "Worst thing I have ever seen in the history of this sport" hyperbole. Well, that sure didn't help it either. That three-man booth with Excalibur, Ross and Tony is ROUGH to listen to. They basically just ignore Ross the whole time and everything feels off.

The match that we saw deserved a better ending than that. Maybe when Bryan comes back and fights The BCC and Moxley it might change the way I feel about this right now, but I guess I will wait and see what story AEW tells from this and if it all pays off in the end but for me it just felt off tonight. If I am in the minority on that I will take it, but that ending in my opinion was absolutely horribly executed.

It's like they say. You can have a great PPV but how you end it is all people will talk about.

Even though Murtos was completely awesome tonight and deserved to win his match with Hologram and Takeshita FINALLY won a title in AEW. They had some positives, but it sucks that last angle left me with such a sour taste.

I guess it just all boils down to that I just don't have any desire to see Darby/Mox which is now the obvious build from that angle, because I didn't like their Grand Slam match and I highly doubt their next one would be better and I also don't care for OC/Mox either which will probably be their side quest before they do the Mox/Darby. Unless they find better dancing partners for Mox. I just don't give a damn about his title reign.
