This was just another in a long line of entertaining Flair/Dusty match ups. The spin on this is that it takes place in front of a Mid-South crowd. So Flair is a total heel, and Dusty is 100% babyface. Dusty wasn't as great as he was in the Bockwinkle match, but he showed much more versatility here. Flair was his usual great self with both guys giving it their all. Dusty was great at fighting underneath and getting the crowd to get behind him. Of course what would a Flair/Dusty match be without a total screwjob finish. I decided to throw this out as a low-to mid level nomination.

The only match I didn't nom was a Texas Tornado Match inside a steel cage between the Rock N Roll Express and the Guerreros from Houston. I thought Ginnetty was shilling these a while back like 12-20 some odd disks. I'm pretty sure he'll have a list.

November 15, 200718 yr comment_5423969 I watched this last night. While it was enjoyable, I just felt let down. To be honest, I never thought Dusty and Flair were a great matchup. The abbreviated match, the crummy ending lead me to say no to this match. Phil and Kris may disagree.
