Not afraid to choke someone or bite or drape a villain over the top rope or BITE THE SHEIK’S EAR! Awesome. What a great violent brawl that the ref allowed to continue. Some blood would have been great but its ok.
May 26May 26 comment_6030411 This match is a great encapsulation of Hulkamania some months into Hogan's first reign. The crowd going crazy for Hogan's entrance, Hulk just bushwhacking Sheik the moment he enters the ring, the crowd going crazy for Hogan using the shirt and headband to choke Sheik (while Eye of the Tiger keeps playing), the biting, it's clear Hulk can do no wrong. Sheik gets his own shots in with some cable choking and a chair when they're outside. The match settles down with Sheik in control, although he keeps the crowd riled up with spitting on Hogan and his offense. Finish is a bit quick but it looks like it may be setting up another rematch. While maybe not as high on it as iPad, I'd say it's a solid nomination.
