Ted DiBiase vs. Magnum TA (11/7/84)

This was the TV version of their house show matches from a few months earlier although not as bloody and more fast paced. This was good stuff but the house matches were better.

“Nature Boy” Buddy Landell vs. Brickhouse Brown (11/7/84)

Landell was supposed to face Reed but Reed got a phone call saying his brother was injured in an accident, which shockingly is proved untrue later on. Brick takes Reed’s place and this is a good match.

The football match between Doc & Duggan is supposed to happen next but it ends up being a brawl involving DiBiase & Hercules with Doc in full football gear.

Hercules Hernandez vs. Master G (11/7/84)

Once again Master does the job.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Jim Horton & Thomas Ivy (11/7/84)

Squash.

Mid-South TV Title: “Exotic” Adrian Street © vs. “Superstar” Bill Dundee (11/7/84)

We have a rematch here from a couple of weeks earlier and Street is in his Rob Halford look here. This had some great action like their previous match but with more matwork at the beginning. Street threw some great strikes here especially the European uppercuts and was really dirty trying to fishhook Dundee and choking him various ways. Dundee would make his comeback throwing great punches but there would be a double collision with both men getting up and throwing some big shots before Street hit a piledriver. Street would miss a back elbow and Dundee came firing back before hitting a running shoulderblock into the corner. Street would throw Dundee out but Dundee would run up the ropes and hit a reverse cross body block on Street for the win. This was a really solid stiff match and this goes on the block.

Chavo & Hector Guerrero vs. Art Crews & Lee Ramsey (11/7/84)

Squash.

Hacksaw Duggan vs. Dale Burnett (11/21/84)

Squash.

Chavo & Hector Guerrero vs. Brickhouse Brown & Master G (11/21/84)

I already nominated a match between these teams from Houston so we’ll see how this goes. Guerreros use quick tags to keep the pressure on Brick but Brick uses his speed and slickness to get away and making the tag to Master. Master throws some great headscissors here including one that would send Chavo to the floor. Guerreros would counter all of this by using their roughhouse tactics and more quick tags but Master would still find a way to tag Brick. Brick comes in and takes care of both men with dropkicks until Master could join him. Brick would get Hector up for a slam but started spinning around enough so Chavo would come in and hit him with the bandolero and Hector fell on top for the win. Fun match.

“Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Lee Ramsey (11/21/84)

Squash with Duggan showing up in full football gear to take out Doc.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Ted DiBiase & Hercules Hernandez (11/21/84)

Some good fast paced action early with Gibson throwing some great armdrags on Herc then a nice exchange with DiBiase then Morton would come in and joined the fun throwing dropkicks to DiBiase. DiBiase would squelch this though with a backdrop suplex then Herc would tag in throwing a brutal kick to the head of a grounded Morton. Morton would then take a beating from the heels but Morton would get his chance when he would kick out of a DiBiase figure-four then moved on a diving elbow drop to get the hot tag to Gibson. Gibson comes in throwing dropkicks but Akbar would pull the top rope down as Gibson was running and he fell over the top rope. Akbar would come in the ring and tried to throw a fireball at Morton but Morton would kick it away. The heels kept pounding on the champs until the faces made the save. Good stuff.

“Hacksaw” Butch Reed vs. “Nature Boy” Buddy Landell (11/21/84)

Reed comes in chasing Akbar out of the ring then just starts beating Landell like a drum until Akbar would distract Reed enough where he would hit him with a knee to the back. Landell’s offensive atack wouldn’t last long before Doc showed up in full football gear to attack Reed until Duggan cleans house with the 2x4. More great stuff.

Terry Taylor vs. Dale Veasy (11/21/84)

Taylor returns from his injury and looks good.

Magnum TA vs. Jack Victory (11/21/84)

Squash.
