Posted June 1Jun 1 comment_6030605 Mr. Perfect vs. Koko B. Ware (MSG 12/30/88) - Slow feeling out to start. This picks up when Curt drops Koko, walks on his back and poses. Koko gets pissed, levels him outside, tosses him in and starts throwing the stiff shots. Koko gets revenge and tap dances on Perfect’s torso. Nasty chop from Perfect leads to an Irish whip reversal into a swank arm drag into a Koko chop. Great stuff. Koko keeps the pressure on with a flurry of moves including a suplex to put Perfect back into the ring. He goes for a Sting splash but misses and Hennig starts kicking the shit out of him. Koko tries to get in the ring but Perfect punches him and he can barely hold on. Perfect shakes the ropes and Koko drops to the concrete. Just trying to get in the ring is a war for Koko. Man, I thought Koko would get back in but Perfect kicks him out again. Koko finally punches his way in. Chops, head smash/ Dancing and punching. Great, great stuff. It’s not over. He keeps driving Curt’s head into the mat. Hennig lifts the knees up on a splash attempt. Koko is dazed and Perfect gets the Perfect-plex. Different from the Taylor match and a SOLID nomination. This has been a renaissance time period for Koko.
