Posted June 1Jun 1 comment_6030625 Hart Foundation vs. US Express (Philly 9/20/86) - Solid work early on. The highlight was the battle between Neidhart and Spivey. Spivey works over the legs to set up a figure 4 but Hitman ends that experiment. Rotundo comes in, starts strong but gets tripped by Hitman. A 2nd rope double team elbow drop gets a 2 count. I thought that was the end. They cut Rotundo off from Spivey but the crowd isn’t rallying. They come alive when Spivey tags in and the Harts bump huge for Spivey. Spivey yanking the goatee was fun. Spivey big leg drop gets a 2 count. He sets up for a bulldog and in an AWESOME finish, Bret sneaks in and decapitates Spivey before he can get the Bulldog. Harts win. That finish was nuts. Middle Nomination but we can drop it if a better version comes along. Damn, that finish was awesome.
